In the Asvarian stronghold, there were many academies of crafts for the Asvarian people who were of mortal birth,

They were not of the bloodline of the Asvarian beasts but were under the protection of the great Asvarian beasts who ruled the Asvarian territory.

Amongst these academies, there was the healer's academy, the academy of smiths, the sword guild, the academy of magic and many others of less prestige than the aforementioned.

The healers academy was one of the most respected academies and only the most talented were granted entry into the healer's academy, to study the healing arts and earn a place amongst the elite of the Asvarian stronghold.

The study hall was a place where the very best of the healer's academy came to receive lectures from the royal healers and the high healer himself.

It was accessible only to those trainees who had earned their healer's crest after summers of intensive study in the academy.
