Capítulo 39: The Ultimate Conwoman

Scott wasn't sure how long he sat there stewing in his questions and feeling like an absolute idiot for ever falling for it. He had been conned by the ultimate conwoman. One who could change everything about her physical appearance.

This had to be what she really looked like. Or mostly, anyway. It didn't seem like she had any makeup on but there were no guarantees this wasn't a wig.

He didn't know her real last name but her name had to be Sherry or Cherry based on what the nurse said. He had to have seen her ID or her chart that had her real information on it.

The list of what Scott knew for sure about her beyond speculation was distressingly short. He had so many questions he didn't even know which one to ask first once she woke up. He didn't know who she was, what in the world she had been thinking, or if she even loved him at all.

That might be what bothered him the most. She was an incredible actress. Was anything about her feelings for him real?
