Lucien wanted to tease this brat but when he noticed the present Lexi wasn't with them, he hurriedly throw that thought away and raced back inside the hospital room.

The demon is already gone. Lucien can understand what happened to Lexi eventually. She was enslaved and tortured. Then for some reason she and her brother rose up and became a demon lord children.

He wanna know what happened in between. And only Lexi can answer that question. When Lucien reached the door, he heard Keith's footsteps coming closer.

He looked over his shoulder and said, "There are still tear stains on your cheeks."

Keith visibly reddened in embarrassment and hurriedly wipe his face using his hand. He noticed his palm was slightly wet hence he refused to look at Lucien, probably due to embarrassment that he was seen by someone crying.
