"I am going to the washroom," Bella spilled out with confused eyes as if a haze just withdrew its chasm from her head.
Alexander already organized her dress in a pissed spirit. He didn't word out to question her, but his eyes scowled all around to tear apart the entire place.
Isabella went to the washroom straight. A bit crowded, so Bella waited. Her eyes were down while she recalled the moment that had happened a few seconds ago. What were those feelings? How did it had given her the satisfaction that she had never felt before?
"Are you Ms. Bella?" Bella heard a voice and looked up as she saw a few girls approach her whom she did not know. She couldn't recall these faces. But she gave them a polite smile with the answer, "Yes. How may I help you?"
"O, thank god. Finally, we meet. We are students from St. Peterson. Last match in your college we were there but couldn't get a chance to go to you but let me tell you first we are fans of your play. You are damn good," one of them said, leaving no space for others to speak as if she couldn't want to hold her words in her.
"I appreciate your love," Bella replied with a humble voice, hugging the girl who was beyond glad by the hug that Bella could even imagine.
"Miss, Isabella. Can we take a selfie with you?" another girl said, pulling out her phone. Fundamentally, she didn't even wait for Bella's answer. It was awkward for Bella, who didn't expect this craze.
As they took selfies, they added another thing that she didn't hear, which was quite unexpected.
"You may know, Elizabeth. She was missing, and no one has found her yet."
"What?" Bella's expression was natural. The shock was real.
"I didn't know about this news. Where she has gone?" Bella slowly asked as she gathered herself.
"No one knows. Her parents think she is kidnapped, so they even announced prized money if anyone found her. Still, nothing came to the Cops' hands. It's all over the news." Bella heard them say. She looked at them with a smile, but she inside had gone into thoughts.
"Thank you, miss Bella, for the time and selfie. I hope that one day our colleges will play again and we will see your game," they said and left Bella who turned to the mirror and felt her life suddenly get swathed by trouble. Every day, there were new things that made her anxious. Now, where Elizabeth has gone? And why didn't Beth and Danny inform her about this? Bella thought and walked out of the washroom.
She made her way to the hall when another voice called to her, "Bella, wait."
When she looked behind. Her eyes straight caught a person with a gentle look, Tim. With whom she went on a date. What kind of luck is that? Bella exhaled a breath before giving him a kind smile.
"Hey, Tim! How are you doing?" Bella asked.
"Doing great! How are you? No call, nothing," Tim paused with a smile, then added, "With whom?" Then he pointed at the theater with his finger.
"O!! A friend," Bella replied with an awkward nod, and within she was praying for Alex to stay inside. She did not want to break Tim's heart. She made their date awkward and then left him without telling him. Wasn't she selfish?
"You can ask me too. I was free," Tim said with an expectation to see the excitement in Bella's eyes, as his eyes were excited and happy to see her.
"Sometimes interest matters," a voice answered from behind. Taking one step, he came to them and his hand reached for Bella's waist, holding her close.
Bella felt the cold surface of her heart, not because Alexander had come to them but because of the intensity of his voice. He was angry, Bella could tell.
Tim's eyes quivered at the sight of the man. It was Alexander Luther, the king of the Luther empire. What was he doing with Isabella?
Tim shifted his head from Alexander to Bella with questions he had in his eyes. Bella felt guilty and ashamed. She told him she came with a friend. But from which angle did Alex's gesture look friendly? And why did he show up? What if others would see? Bella sucked a breath before turning her lips tight shut because she had no answer.
"Bella, can we talk for a second?" Tim asked, avoiding the blazing eyes of someone. He felt tapered things all over his body, slowly penetrating his skin. His breath tightened with the smog of fear that pushed his heart to go down to his stomach. But Bella wasn't in good company and he couldn't hold his mouth. He would bear the outcome his action would cause after that.
"Yes," Bella replied and came out from the grasp around her waist. He couldn't control his anger, which caused his words to come out in between grounded teeth with the threat.
"What kind of words do you have that you cannot tell in front of her boyfriend?" Alexander asked and grabbed Bella's arm.
"Boyfriend!!" Tim repeated, drawing his brows together. And Alexander disparaged with a smirk.
"Any doubt?"
