I couldn't sleep… That's why I snuck out of the house and took the bicycle.

I know, how random. But what was I to do? Yan isn't home, Celia is asleep, and I'm so bored!

So I put on jeans, his hoodie—that I now admittedly love—shoved my feet into sneakers, slid Trigger's knife into my back pocket, went downstairs, snuck into the garage, then pushed the bicycle out. I don't know whose it is; I think it's Mariano's. I just saw it a few weeks ago when Val and I snooped around the house. I didn't look back to see if Enzo saw me. I just pedaled into the night.

I did it on impulse. It reminds me of how I used to sneak out in New York because I sometimes get the urge to just…go. I've always been a daredevil. Perhaps it's why I drove my brothers crazy when I did things they told me not to.
