"So, what? What are you going to do? Are you going to kill me now? Is that what this is?" He curses under his breath, his voice dripping in venom, and then he looks at the nearest soldier with a gun, Enzo. "I order you to untie me right this instant."

With his usual neutral expression, Enzo shrugs in a devil-may-care attitude. "You're not the boss of me. I don't work for you."

Jax joins us. I tasked him to check on the other side of the house where my brother would most likely try to escape. Two of my men were already there. Seeing as he came back alone, I'm guessing that part of my plan didn't go well. Fuck.

Despite my frustrations, I don't let my father see it. I continue to look at him like he's some dirt stuck on my shoe.
