Sitting on top of a pile of beaten up guards, the old Wang general pressed his brows firmly against each other, with eyes that could shoot daggers through the heart.

"Shen-Shen, is this some sort of joke? Who dares sends these fools to invade my quarters?!" The old general roared, curling his fingers into an angry fist.

Shen Yating pulled out his sword from the abdomen of an intruder, then wiped the blood off of the corpse. "Judging by their clothes, I'd say the lofty Eight prince, Biming."

The general clicked his tongue, "aish, first that loose tongued consort and now that reject son?! What do these people take my silence for?"

Shen Yating who was used to seeing the old general laugh off matters which he himself would get angry for, was left stunned.

He looked at the bodies then placed his sword back in it's holster, 'the general really has grown soft since retirement.' the ex lieutenant thought to himself.
