Capítulo 49: Very dead

I didn't have much time, so it was great that things were totally working out.

Given that I'd somehow beheaded twenty-three ogres, they all just submitted to me. 

And that meant, the Ruby quest of ridding rid of them was also complete.

And now I had extra unpaid labor. 

'I'll at least give them a proper home and food though…' Yeah, I had to definitely make sure of that. 

"Still with the ogres, I think our combat strength shot up. And in case of emergencies, we could always just get mercenaries," I said. 

That was another reason I was storing up on cash.

Preparations.

Loads of preparations.

"Combat strength? We're going to war?" Marie asked.

And wait- what we?

Did she already count herself in or something?

Come to think of it- 'Didn't she say, demon queen…'

A red flag.

No, not just one. I got plenty of red flags and from both of these women.
