Adam felt hurt and broken by the words that came from Chloe's mouth. The woman had crossed all limits by speaking such words to him.

There was nothing more painful than having the woman that he loves to believe that he was with her only for her body. He enjoyed the night they shared, but he meant more to her than that.

The fact that she would look down on him, and think him to be such a shameless person that would come close to her for her body. It hurt him.

In the past, he had misunderstood her. Nicole played a fair game in that but at that moment, there was no one to blame but Chloe for the things she said.

He walked away from her, the feeling was drowning. Imagine a world where he would stoop so low for a woman's body or a situation where he would be misunderstood so badly. It was heartbreaking.
