He looked around, his eyes searching for the source of the arrow. But thanks to the darkness of the seemingly endless room, he could see nothing but the Hydra and the crab anywhere near him.

As he approached the bottom of the neck he pushed off, creating some distance between himself and the Hydra. Landing on his feet, he glance back up once again at the Hydra's head that he had been going towards. While he knew that there had to be an arrow in its neck, or something similar that would justify the sudden movement that was made, since he was unable to see where the attack had come from it was rather unbelievable.

'It doesn't seem like they were aiming to hit me, whoever they were. And I haven't been attacked by them again, even though it would be easy to hit me with an arrow right now. Maybe I've got an ally in this fight, to even the odds between the two enemies. The System did mention that there was help in the original labour, so maybe this is that.'
