Capítulo 260: - Specialisation

"Gus, can I talk to you for a minute?"

On his way back up to his room within the ship, Gus ran into Krista. It clearly wasn't a coincidence, since she had been waiting directly in the path between the main deck of the ship and his room.

"Sure, what's up?"

"I have been thinking about things since Edenia," she said. "I have to ask, what, if anything, do you have in mind for me?"

"What do you mean?" Gus asked, before leading her to his room and heading in. Once inside, he took his seat at the desk and gestured for her to do the same.

"Before you went to the station, you made the choice of who to take with you. And, while I can completely understand wanting to take the best people for the mission with you, it made me think about myself. I am weak, probably too weak for what we are trying to do here. And when I face that fact about myself, I ask myself what is the point in me being here? What do I actually do here?"
