My extra sensitive ears weren't fooling me.

But the girl that was standing in front of me was trying to do just that.

I didn't need my pureblood eyes to see them shaking.

I grabbed her hand by the wrist and pulled it out of her pocket, holding it in front of her eyes, she didn't resist.

The rest of her hand was shaking just like her thumb.

"That's because it's cold," her pupils dilated when she lied. Her face was flushed, and her heart was beating like crazy.

'Let's get out of here,'

She snatched her hand away from my loose grip, "No!" she snapped and crossed her arms over her breasts, tucking her hands under her armpits where they can shake comfortably away from my zoom-in feature.

What did I expect after all the lack of communication between the two of us?
