The atmosphere in the meeting room was tense. Gabriel had summoned the Alphas and other leaders to discuss the next course of their operation. To Alric's surprise, Lucifer was nowhere to be seen. Wasn't she always so keen on interrupting his father during briefings? 

As if his lover had never existed, Gabriel continued to lay out the details with the help of a presentation. To put an end to the seemingly neverending stream of drone shuttles, a large group was to fly to one of the factories. While the captured battleships and war shuttles would be used to create a diversion, a team of highly trained mercenaries and the Alphas were to invade the factory by foot and plant bombs at strategic points. To accomplish this, the designated team received tablets with a map layout of the factory, acquired through accessing old archives."
