Capítulo 22: The Assassin

The depressing silence was concerning. As if that wasn't bad enough, Alric could smell a faint trace of wet metal. The closer he got to the dilapidated mansion entrance that once belonged to the Sloth pack, the stronger it became. The heavy double wooden doors had been lifted off their hinges and would have barred him from entering. However, parts of it had been cleanly cut out by a sharp object, permitting Alric to twist his way inside.

Once inside, he was greeted by an overwhelming scent of blood and decay. The checkered marble ground was dyed in large dark brown stains. Partially mummified corpses of small hellspawn creatures littered the once large grand entrance. Alric had to resist the urge to puke. Covering his nose with his arm, he continued on.
