Capítulo 119: Sudden feelings
I had to spend an hour explaining everything. It was one grueling hour. Fay and Fiona were probably the most surprised. Fay did not faint but Fiona did become somewhat hysteric.
I introduced the newborn spirit to Doris, who also is a spirit, to get some more information. What Doris said was nothing too special. She is technically a spirit but her birth was not natural. An extremely strong catalyst sped up her birth.
She is a true mutation. Anyway, a new name is in order. I am tired of thinking of names. Why do I have to pick a name all of the time?
Samantha, pick a good name for her?
(Why should I? You are like her father. Shouldn't you be giving her the name?)
If you are using that logic then you are like her mother. It's a dual effort. You have to do your part as well.
A silence came in reply. What happened? Samantha, you there?

A loud scream resounded in my mind. It didn't affect my ears but my mind did take some damage.
Why did she have to shout?

I ask the person in question. She is unaffected by the commotion. She is just sitting there talking with Eden.
"Yes master. I am honored to have been blessed with a name."
"Then from today on you shall be called Tiana."
I thought for a moment, I felt lightheaded. But nothing special happened. Tiana is still the same. I think it was just my imagination.
"Thank you master. I shall serve you till the end of my days." (Tiana)
"Be at ease. You are being too stiff. How about you socialize with everyone?"
I bring everyone out. Aera, Aegis, Doris, Amaryllis are out. But there are too many people in this room. I had to use Spatial manipulation to make the room bigger to accommodate everyone.
Fiona woke up and said that she is going to cook another feast. Mom offered to help her. This is going to be something.
Tiana is playing with Eden and Aegis. Aegis makes for an excellent playmate. While, Fay is looking worn out. Doris, Amaryllis, Aera, Aura and Hazel are trying to help Fay. Why do I feel like they all have something in common?
Dad and I are the only ones with nothing left to do. I look at dad. We are totally outnumbered. We wryly smile at each other and he pointed outside.
"Then, we will be stepping outside for a bit. Aera, send me a message when things are done."
She just said yes and went back to their discussion. Me and dad leave to wander around the town.
It's probably 8 or something. I don't know the exact time. But it's bustling. I don't know how the days work here. All I know is that it's similar to Earth's.
"Where should we go, dad?"
"I think we should stroll around first. I really don't have any money." (Dad)
It's understandable. Dad never had this world's currency. So, I should pitch in. I think I have some money. I keep forgetting how much money I have. We head North and see Ms. Pablo's shop. It's open.
"Dad, I found a good store."
"A store? What kind of store?" (Dad)
"A general store. They sell almost everything."
"A general store. That is good but this place doesn't fit that idea." (Dad)
"I know. But I talked with the owner yesterday. She is a good businesswoman."
I think we should just browse items first. Maybe dad might like something.
We enter the shop. Ms. Pablo is standing at the register. I flash a smile at her and she smiles back at me.
"I think we should look for accessories."
"That might be good. But I am looking for a good fishing rod. I want to go fishing." (Dad)
"Does that Primus whatever have a pond or river?"
I honestly forgot the name.
"It has. But we also have a beach. I can fish there as well." (Dad)
So it has water bodies as well. Might be a good place to crash. We browse through the fishing section and take 3 rods. One for each type of water body.
I suggest buying a boat as well. But he said that it's too early. Well, it can't hurt to have one. We browsed for a bit more and proceeded to pay.
"Three fishing rods."
I say and show her the rods. She makes a record of our purchase.
"That will be 68 silvers." (Ms. Pablo)
"Here."
I hand her a gold coin. She confirmed the payment and handed me the change. I received 35 silvers in return.
"Ms. Pablo, I think you made a mistake."
"No. I gave you a discount." (Ms. Pablo)
"Wouldn't it be bad for your business?"
"No. I make more than you think. I just didn't make any profit in this case." (Ms. Pablo)
"Fine then. I'll be back again later."
"I'll be glad. By the way, this gentleman, is he your elder brother?" (Ms. Pablo)
"No. He is my father, Cliff Belmont."
"Hello. My son has told me that you have been kind to him. Thank you." (Dad)
Dad greeted Ms. Pablo. Ms. Pablo smiled at us.
"Even so, he looks just a bit older than you. Anyone can mistake him for your brother." (Ms. Pablo)
We all laugh. I remembered something.
"Ms. Pablo, do you handle baby clothes and cribs and stuff like that."
"Why of course. I also handle baby products. Do you need anything?" (Ms. Pablo)
"Then a baby crib. Not too big but should be sturdy."
"Clive, why are your ordering a baby crib this early?" (Dad)
"We should start our preparations. I mean, it won't be too long before we welcome our new family member."
"Is someone pregnant in your family, Mr. Belmont." (Ms. Pablo)
"I am going to become a big brother. I should prepare for my sibling."
I don't know why but I had this sudden urge to announce that. Am I secretly elated? I don't know. I just did it due to a sudden feeling.
