Capítulo 11: high school
Just like the wind, thirteen years passed...
Shen Xi went into her room and slammed the door shut. She took off her clothes and went straight to the bathroom. After refreshing her body, she hopped onto the bed and took a short nap.
Two hours later...
Shen Xi woke up and took out her phone to check for messages.
Bestie: Xixi let's meet at the coffee shop.
Bestie: Are you busy?
Bestie:Call me if you see this message.
She called him and he picked up with a lazy voice" Shen Xi what took you so long? I've been waiting for you for a long time, let's meet at the coffee shop "

'This bastard does he think I'm free like him?' she cursed before getting off the bed.
She wore a white top, a blue jacket and blue jeans matching with white shoes. She tied her hair in a ponytail and put on her sunglasses before going out.
"Mom I'm going to meet Chai at the coffee shop, I'll be right back" she waved at her mom and got into the black Maybeck car.
At the coffee shop...
Shen Xi saw Lu Chai who stood at the entrance of the shop waiting for her.
"Bastard, what's wrong?" she pinched the space between her eyebrows.
"Xixi how many times have I told you to stop calling me that?" he knocked her head
"Fine I'm sorry but it hurts, why did you have to hit me so hard?" she pouted and entered the coffee shop.
Lu Chai followed her suit and they found a table to sit at. They ordered coffee.
"So why did you call me here?" Shen Xi asked as she sipped the coffee.
"I was quite bored and needed someone to hang out with"
"You damn brat, how could you waste my precious time just like that?"
"Aren't you going to accompany your best friend? don't you care about me?" he asked
She shook her head " No I care about you"
"Shen Xi I've always wanted to ask you, despite being your best friend you never told me who your crush was"
"What about you? You also didn't tell me"
"Me? the...the...the girl doesn't like me so I'll try to court her"
"How would you know she doesn't love you? you've got to ask her"
"I can't, I'll just wait and if she doesn't make a move, then I will"
The two chatted for a while before parting off.
Next day...
"Xixi, Chaichai is here already, hurry" Ning Nu yelled from the living room.
"I'll be there in a second" she also yelled as she wore her sneakers before stepping out.
"Xixi" he gave her a tight hug" what took you so long? were you giving birth?"
"Hey watch your mouth" she grabbed his hand and they hopped into the car. Soon they arrived at school.

Shen Xi and Lu Chai were known to be one of the best students in class. Shen Xi always occupied the first position while Lu Chai occupied the second position.

*Bell rings*
The first lesson begins and Miss Li Yen the Maths teacher who was a red-haired young lady in her twenties walked in.
*Breaktime*
Shen Xi and Wang Pe jumped off to the cafeteria to get lunch, they took their tray and got their lunch then found a seat.
"Shen Xi...the food here is so great" Wang Pe yelled which caused the other students to turn and look at them, Shen Xi looked at them apologetically and smacked Wang Pe.
"Mind your words" She rolled her eyes.
Everyone in Min Sun high school knew that Shen Xi's enemy was Su Rou. In front of everyone, Shen Xi was always bullying Su Rou. Su Rou was known by everyone to be a kind, gentle, forgiving and loving person but only Shen Xi and Wang Pe knew her true colours. Su Rou was a scheming person. Su Rou's girlfriends are Lai Li, Yun Le and Meng Su.
