Seeing the attack, Guang Chan punched out a series of times before he could deplete the energy of the attack.
"If you won't date me, why not just tell me, than to lash at me," saying so, he took out the halberd hanging at his back, "let see how you do after taking this attack, maybe you will regret not accepting my proposal, but I can still change my mind." Guang Chan said as he holds the halberd, burning his body energy to perform his technique.
Hearing what Guang Chan said, Zhu Mingxia didn't get angry as she could feel the aura emitting from Guang Chan's body.

Striking down with the halberd, Guang Chan was like a Warlord with enough strength to destroy an entire city.
Making contact with the whip, the halberd passed through with no resistance from the whip.
"I admit defeat," Zhu Mingxia shouted as she felt fear for her life.
Stopping the attack, Guang Chan was not looking good himself, blood could be seen at the both corners of his mouth and both his ears.
"Do you regret rejecting me, now?" Guang Chan asked as he smiled sheepishly.
"Hmph, I don't regret anything," Zhu Mingxia said as she left the battle stage.
Winner is Guang Chan, advancing into the next round.
Coming down from the battle stage, Guang Chan could feel countless eyes centred at him, but it was not a respectful gaze but anger could be felt coming off the eyes.
Looking bewildered as he didn't know how he offended these people.
"Guang Chan, how dare you say such shameless thing to Miss Zhu Mingxia, are you tired of living? Hu Zixin said, surprising everyone.
Looking at Hu Zixin, Guang Chan asked, "does what I said to Zhu Mingxia have anything to do with you? if not, mind your business, if I want to date her I will ask, if you want to date her, why don't you just ask."
"I will advice you to know how you talk, before you lose your voice without knowing why," Hu Zixin said, advising Guang Chan like a senior lecturing a junior.
"Don't tell me how I should use my voice. If not because I got my eyes at getting into the 1st three positions, so as to get the dantian formation pill that will help in creating a stronger dantian, I would have also broken through to the xiantian realm," Guang Chan said as he walked to where he was standing.
Elder Anki said, "this round of battle is over and 7 participants made it to the next round. You will all be given two hours to get ready for the next round."
The people who qualified are:

Looking at Tao Shanyuan like a fool, Bu Nan just kept quiet as he left the matter to Elder Anki, just regretting that it was not Lu Jin that spoke out.
"Silent, if you have no proof to your claim, then stand back so you won't delay this competition from going on," Elder Anki backed out at Tao Shanyuan.
No. 2 Vs no. 7, no. 3 Vs no. 6 and no. 4 Vs no. 5.
No. 2 Vs no. 7 step out, elder Anki said, as he stepped down from the battle stage.
Tao Shanyuan stepped out still looking ugly for being reprimanded by elder Anki.
"His opponent will really face his anger, tisk, tisk, the spectators said as they discussed amongst themselves.
Stepping out, Tu Feng came facing Tao Shanyuan, looking at him he said, "you are really stupid for trying to undermine the ability of elder Anki."
"What did you say?" Tao Shanyuan asked, not expecting his opponent to insult him as he released his aura to the limit without even caring about the battle stage.
"I SAID THAT YOU ARE AN IDIOT FOR UNDERMINING THE ABILITY OF ELDER ANKI," Tu Feng said as he ran around the battle stage, dodging each and everyone of Tao Shanyuan's attack.
"Don't you have strength? Your xiantian realm cultivation is just a waste, so useless and slow," Tu Feng said as he angered Tao Shanyuan over and over again.
Not able to keep his calm again, Tao Shanyuan charged at Tu Feng. A really foolish thing a mage/sorcerer should ever do.
"No wonder I called you an idiot, Tu Feng said laughing, as he launched his sword move, *piercing rock* technique.
Hearing what Tu Feng said, Tao Shanyuan was about to get mad when he saw Tu Feng finally attacking, responding by trying to launch a spell, he saw how close he was to Tu Feng, before the completion of his spell, the sword arrived.
"You lost," Tu Feng said as he kept his sword at the neck of Tao Shanyuan.
I admit defeat," Tao Shanyuan said, sounding like he has lost all his confidence as a xiantian realm cultivator.
Winner is Tu Feng, advancing to the semifinals.
"He is really shameless to trick Tao Shanyuan to get mad and then charge at him, but Tao Shanyuan is really an idiot, how could he forget the most basic rule among mages." the crowd of spectators discussed as they watched, anticipating the next match as more matches were fought.
Next no. 3 Vs no. 6, stepped out, elder Anki said.
Stepping into the stage, Wu Lan faced Hu Zixin as they both bowed at the other.

Immediately they both released their auras and life spirit, Wu Lan released his winged tiger with helmet on it face while Hu Zixin released a blood red sickle, it was his life spirit and also the family trait of Hu family in Chang city, it is one of the eight prominent families in the city with one peak martial prince, holding down the firm.
