In the thick forest of Elior, somewhere there was a small house made of wood and stone with an amazing back garden filled with flowers that apparently were not affected by the cold that ravaged the forest.
In the middle of all this was Emilia who was talking with the spirits as usual, while the slight breeze hit Emilia and made her hair sway slowly.
Without realizing it, someone was watching her from the door that led to the garden, wearing a black jacket with red edges and the symbol of a Slime on the back, black pants, black boots and black hair gathered in a ponytail, highlighted the figure of this person.
Adding to this that after a period of growth now his figure looks more adult, this young man was Kaito who had lived with Emilia for more than 4 months. Yes, 4 months, this was possible thanks to the good intentions shown by Kaito and Emilia, who also liked his company and that finally someone treated her like a normal person, not like a demon.
Of course, at first it was complicated, although Kaito had taken Emilia and Puck to the space given by the System and that Emilia will like it there, she still missed her home, to which after spending a week inside her Space, Kaito proposed to her. take her back to her home.
Although Emilia was embarrassed and sad because she believed that Kaito thought that she didn't like being in this place and was going to abandon her which made her in an extremely depressing mood.
Of course, Kaito found out about this and he immediately had to calm Emilia down by explaining that it's better to be outdoors and also that he would be able to talk to the spirits.
This made Emilia happy again and she insisted with some pity on Kaito to take her outside, so Kaito took her to where he had his parents' figures made of snow.
Seeing Emilia's situation, sadness and anger filled Kaito's heart, sadness for what Emilia happened and anger is for Pandora, which caused all the bad things that happened to Emilia to happen to her. For example, the death of his Parents and the disaster in the Elior Forest due to the Seal that contains the remains of Minerva.
As for knowing all this, it's easy for Kaito who got used to his powers a long time ago and can see the past and the future without any problem. He also knows that the future attack on Priestella is because of the Typhon remains.
With all this and his ability to see all things, Kaito knows that Pandora is looking for the remains of the Witches to turn them into puppets and then share the authorities with the Archbishops to give them to the Witches.
Finally, break the seal of the Pleiades watchtower and thus free the Witch of Envy to finally turn her into a puppet or perhaps to ally with her and destroy the world.
But those thoughts were fleeting at the time so Kaito put them aside to later focus on Emilia and thus give her a better life while enjoying spending days with her.
Remembering all this, Kaito smiled slightly. Resting her gaze on Emilia, he realized that she was walking towards hers with a smile on her beautiful face.
"What were you doing out here?" Emilia asked curiously since she was able to see Kaito distracted before.
"Hehe... I was just thinking about all the things we've been through and also I was seeing you talking to the spirits." Saying that, Kaito patted Emilia on the head as if she had done it before.
Emilia, feeling Kaito's touch, just smiled with joy. After this interaction with Emilia Kaito returned to the cabin with Emilia next to her who was in a state of happiness.
The reason for being like this is that Emilia knows that Kaito waiting for her while he talked to the spirits is because he calls her when he has the food ready. Of course, Emilia loves Kaito's food. So every time he calls her to eat, she rushes to follow him.
Kaito was already familiar with Emilia's actions so he could only smile to see that she already overtook him and entered the cabin. As Kaito watched Emilia's back move away, he began to think about her feelings towards Emilia.
For obvious reasons, Kaito likes Emilia, you know it's impossible not to have feelings for a person you've lived with for 4 months. But the reason why I haven't done anything until now is because of Emilia's little knowledge on these issues.
Although she knows that with a little guidance that aspect can improve, she still thinks of waiting for her to recover her memories, she has been talking to Puck about it a couple of times but he always makes excuses and postpones things.
[Well, I'll have to have a serious talk with him after lunch]. With this thought, Kaito entered the house and went directly to the place where the food was.
When he got to the table, Puck and Emilia were already eating contently. Seeing this, Kaito didn't think about the previous problems anymore, he will leave the subject of his relationship with Emilia for the near future and that whatever has to happen happens.
Even if he is rejected, he will continue to help Emilia, this is thought by Kaito since he knows that relationships and couples in the anime depend on the script, so now that he is in the real world, these kinds of things are different.
Why in this world all people have their own feelings and attitudes, so even though Kaito expects things to follow the original story, he thinks that people's relationships can be different or maybe Kaito is overthinking things and all the attitudes andFeelings of people in the 2D world are as shown in the story and being in this plane nothing changes.
But in the end he did not reach an end to his current doubt and simply focused on eating together with Emilia and Puck, and thus continue enjoying time with them.
As time passed, the 3 finished eating respectively. Emilia and Puck looked extremely satisfied with the food. And shortly after Emilia went to sleep, she fell asleep. Seeing her in that state, Kaito sighed and carrying her like a princess without waking her up, took her to her room to rest.
When Kaito returned to the place where they were eating earlier, he looked at Puck who was apparently asleep but Kaito knew perfectly well that he was just acting.
"Don't you think it's time to talk about this topic and end it once and for all?" Kaito asked with a reproachful tone to Puck.
He pretended to be asleep at first but after feeling that Kaito was serious this time he got up from the place where he was. Then he floated to a height where he and Kaito stared into each other's eyes, before talking.
"You know that this topic is not easy for me... and even more so, Emilia herself... she's still not ready to remember her past." Puck said in a melancholic and heavy tone.
"I understand what you mean but Emilia must know the truth…as painful as it is, I have also told you several times that I can make her adoptive mother return to normal."
"If you're capable of doing that, why haven't you done it yet?" Puck asked in a rhetorical tone.
"I'm waiting since I want to eliminate the witch cult once and for all although it's not the time...".
"So, what are you waiting for?". Puck asked with obvious doubt on his face.
"Hehehe... someone interesting...". Kaito answered in a mysterious tone, seeing him, Puck knew that Kaito wasn't going to say anything else so he gave up.
"But back on topic, rest assured that when Emilia regains her memories she won't be affected by it...". Leaving the words where they were, Kaito began to walk out of the cabin.
"Okay, I trust you... since you really care about Emilia and I even know that you are willing to do whatever it takes to make her happy. Oh am I wrong?" Although Puck said those words, he knew that he was not going to have an answer as Kaito's back grew further and further away.
However, he knows that an answer is not necessary since it is true, since in his perception Kaito's feelings for Emilia are really deep.
With Kaito, he knew Puck's thoughts and he didn't see the need to answer his question since he let him feel his emotions for Emilia. It can be said that it is like a confidence action that Kaito gives to Puck. But anyway, right now he's more interested in the person who caught his eye and was the reason he left the cabin.
A man with makeup and dressed as a clown can be easily recognized, even more so if it is nothing more and nothing less than Roswaal Mathers, one of the antagonists of the series.
When Kaito saw it with his perception he was a little astonished, then he changed his expression from shocked to one of interest since he has a vague idea of what attracts him to this place. And what attracts him is Emilia... He wants to use it like in the original story, although Kaito is more interested as Roswaal is going to do this time since he was not in the original story.
So, wanting to see the first conspirator that appeared in the series, Kaito didn't keep walking, but only transported himself 4 kilometers from the house, since it was at that distance that Roswaal was flying.

In the dense forest there was a man flying over at high speed, this person was Roswaal who had been watching Emilia for a long time since the calamity of the Kingdom recently occurred and the entire royal family died.
Now they are looking for candidates to make the pact with the Dragon again, this whole situation made Roswaal feel energetic since it is a perfect opportunity for him to take revenge on Volcánica for what he did to his teacher.
However, his plans were delayed because the Half Elf girl was with a boy and a small cat, who radiated a dangerous feeling. But she could not delay any longer and she risked going with the girl to invite her to be a Royal Candidate. As for the boy, he doesn't care if it is necessary, he will kill him for his plans.
He already did it once when he annihilated the Oni people and obtained the two sisters, although one of them found out and hates him, but still decided not to do anything to him for having saved them.
This fact made Roswaal's plan, which consisted of using the older sister to control the younger, to go to waste. So with the conviction to do things right this time, Roswaal came prepared for any situation.
While he had all those thoughts in his mind, he suddenly stopped his flight because in front of him a young man with black hair, golden eyes and black and white casual clothes was in front of him looking at him with a flat look.
Seeing well who was the person who crossed his path, Roswaal knew who he was, he is the young man who accompanies the young Half Elf, as well as being the leader of the largest Chamber of Commerce in the Kingdom... Kaito.

Yes, indeed, Kaito has not been lazy these months and he built a chamber of commerce to help Emilia in the future, although at first it was a little difficult for him to find qualified personnel throughout the Kingdom and he even had to create life to help him, however at finally he was able to solve thatproblem.
Although it is clear that at first some people wanted to take advantage of him and decided to do dirty things, but in the end they disappeared from existence. Kaito had no problem wiping them out of existence since those guys did nasty things which made Kaito want to kill them even more.
Something to add is that the Kaito chamber of commerce is in charge of trading food, clothing, utensils, among other basic necessities. This he did with the help of some Golems and some Demons that he created to help him with the job. The Golems are kept in Kaito's Space which they can enter and leave at will.
Meanwhile, the Demons created by Kaito keep monitoring his Chamber of Commerce at all times.
It should be noted that they are extremely strong, if they must be compared to someone, the Golems are stronger than Clayman in their final form, as for the demons, it can be said that they can be compared to the Tensor Primordials, although of course they are not compared to Guy, even if they trained with Kaitoin a room of time, they still need to grow.
But back to the main topic, Kaito looked at Roswaal for a moment and then slowly descended to the ground. Roswaal for the part was confused by Kaito's actions, however he still followed him to the ground.
When the two descended to the ground, neither began to speak and for a while they were silent. Until, not holding the moment of silence any longer, Roswaal broke it.
"What are you looking for when you stop me in the middle of my path?"
"Isn't it obvious, I want to know why you're coming here specifically." Kaito replied in a rhetorical tone.
Knowing that his question was stupid, Roswaal quickly changed his next words, only to continue speaking this time with a superior tone.
"I have come because I want the young woman with you to be a candidate to be the queen of the Kingdom of Lugunica so...".
"Stop, you better save yourself unnecessary verbiage, you better say once and for all that you are only looking for Emilia so she can find Volcanica and avenge her Master... Echidna the Witch of Greed."When Roswaal heard Kaito's first words his face had no fluctuations at all but when he heard the final part of Kaito's words, his expression changed 180 degrees turning into a look of resentment, hatred and other not very pleasant emotions.
"Y-you... how do you know that!?" Roswaal looked at Kaito asking in a hoarse tone but full of anger and hate.
However, Kaito didn't change his bored expression and just looked at Roswaal with a bit of pity and contempt.
On the one hand, Kaito can understand how it feels to lose a person who affected you a lot, an example would be the time he lost his parents because if... before crossing his parents died in a traffic accident.
So from the feeling of loss at that moment, Kaito could understand how Roswaal felt when he lost his teacher, who was the only person who helped him.
He also looks at him with contempt since because of the anger and love he felt he didn't care about others and decided to manipulate people for his use, that makes Kaito want to beat Roswaal until he is almost dead.
Seeing the obvious contempt and pity in Kaito's gaze, Roswaal was immediately furious. Without thinking twice he quickly condensed a strong fireball in his right hand and threw it hard at Kaito. Intending to burn him to death, Roswaal waited with obvious expectation for it to happen.
He was going to be disappointed though, when the fireball reached Kaito's front he just blew it out like blowing out a candle flame causing it to vanish into thin air.
Seeing that his attack had no effect, Roswaal grew angrier and this time two more powerful fireballs condensed in his hands. Furthermore, small spheres of different colors lay floating behind him with strong destructive power.
Without delay Roswaal launched all his attacks at once. When they got to Kaito, he had no intention of blocking it. And seeing that Kaito did nothing on Roswaal's face appeared a smile of madness and satisfaction.
With a loud bang all of Roswaal's magic hit Kaito. Seeing the shock wave, Roswaal quickly flew into the sky to avoid being affected by his own attack. A loud explosion resounded throughout the forest and caused more than a kilometer around it to be completely destroyed and engulfed in flames.
Panting from all the effort, a triumphant smile appeared on Roswaal's face as he didn't think Kaito would survive this. As she was preparing to leave he realized something.
In the smoke and flames you could see the silhouette of a person, this person moved a few steps until revealing his appearance. It was Kaito who didn't have any injuries. Even his clothes were intact.
With immense disbelief printed on his face, Roswaal saw Kaito intact without any injuries. He began to wonder if his work in all these years has been useless, if he is still too weak like 400 years ago.
Trembling all over, Roswaal once again looked at Kaito and seeing his state again caused what little sanity Roswaal had to be completely lost. With will, he lunged at Kaito and engaged in hand-to-hand combat.
Seeing Roswaal's actions, Kaito sighed and who knows what at this moment Roswaal is desperate and although he has some regrets, Kaito knows that in order to talk to Roswaal he needs to give him a few blows to make me come to his senses.
Thus the two engaged in a hand-to-hand battle in which Roswaal was slowly losing ground. This only happened because Kaito was simply playing with Roswaal, if he wanted to, he could destroy a Universe with one blow.
But even if Kaito is playing Roswaal he can't take the blows of Kaito's minimal power, he feels that every time Kaito hits him, his arms are about to break. He even has the feeling that his arms could fly off at any moment.
While the two were fighting Kaito was already getting bored of the situation, so exerting a little more force Kaito hit, when he did and Roswaal blocked the latter's arms they exploded like an inflatable bomb.
At the moment this happened Roswaal was incredulous, because even covering his arms with mana they still shattered with a single punch. Without having time to yell or express himself because of the pain he felt, Kaito approached him at unimaginable speed and with a simple puff of air, a blood hole appeared in his chest.
Feeling pain in his limbs and his chest, Roswaal could only fall to the ground without strength and with consciousness leaving his body. As he felt his life slowly slipping away, Roswaal began to think about his entire life and how his Master gave her life for someone like him... someone so pathetic
Looking at Roswaal in such a pathetic state, Kaito thought that it's time to talk.
"You know the truth, it doesn't bother me that you want to avenge your teacher but... it does bother me that you want to use Emilia for it...". Kaito said in a tone that was half murderous and half pitiful for Roswaal.
Roswal: "...".
However, he did not respond to Kaito's words and of course he couldn't do it, so he simply looked at him out of the corner of his eye and then continued looking up at the sky with his last strength.
"But I know that Emilia will like to participate in this candidacy wholeheartedly... so if you help Emilia wholeheartedly, I promise that I will resurrect your teacher so that you can see her again."Roswaal was in trance and he didn't care about Kaito's words until he got to his Master's part, at that moment Roswaal turned to look at Kaito and with the last strength he had left he spoke.
"Y... y-you... are you really capable of doing that?"
Seeing Roswaal's tone of hope and longing. Kaito knew that this real man was madly in love with Echidna.
"Yes, it's not very problematic for me. But keep in mind that you should help Emilia in the political issue, besides I know that with your influence it's not a problem, right?"
"Understand....". Roswaal responded with emotion visible in his tone of voice.
"But remember that even if you love Echidna, maybe she only sees you as a disciple and nothing more. So even knowing that, are you willing to see her again?" Without waiting long, Kaito received an immediate response.
"N-no... I care... even if she doesn't love anyone or fall in love with another I still want to see her again no matter what...." Hearing Roswaal's words, Kaito just nodded.
Although in the part of Roswaal saying that he doesn't care that he loves another, it really made Kaito laugh since he knows that if that happens, Roswaal will go crazy.
However, that does not concern him, so with a light movement of his hand Roswaal's wounds healed, at the same time the Forest engulfed in flames returned to its original state as if going back in time.
At the moment that Roswaal recovered from all his injuries, he saw how Kaito just by moving his hands slightly made the Burning Forest return to how it was before, he made him believe Kaito's words.
Seeing that Roswaal was looking at him, Kaito took the opportunity to speak again.
"Roswaal to be clear, I don't trust you as a manipulative person. So don't try to do anything else since I wouldn't mind eliminating you and with that you will never see your teacher again...". Leaving those words in place, Kaito rose into the sky and slowly went in one direction.
Understanding Kaito's actions, Roswaal followed behind with a wry grin on his face. Since he knows that he can't do anything against Kaito, also with his years of experience he can see that Kaito made no effort when dealing with him.
That already tells him many things, but even so he must endure since the young man in front of him is the only person who can make him see his teacher, Echidna, again and apologize for not being able to help her 400 years ago.
