"Husband, why do I feel as if the memory I have of our dear son, is slowly fading away?" Xing Hongxuan, who had just visited Han Jue after learning about Han Huang's unexpected death, asked with immense worry and anguish in her voice.
Xing Hongxuan was Han Jue's first Dao Companion ever since he started his cultivation journey in the Reroll World.
It wouldn't be lying to say that the beautiful woman held a considerable amount of space in his heart.
The history between them was the longest as it dated back to when he was still a weak mortal struggling to know how to cultivate immortality.
Han Jue seeing her in that state, felt his heart tighten in response to her suffering, yet he didn't let his emotions show on his handsome face.
He maintained his usual nonchalance and aloofness.
As the husband, he had to put on a brave front for his wife.
Han Jue looked at her warmly. "Don't worry about Han Huang. He's not dead. I will revive him later on but it will just take some time."
His voice was reassuring enough to alleviate Xing Hongxuan's sadness.
As for Xing Hongxuan, she chose to believe her cultivation-focused husband who could almost do anything.
She then jumped into Han Jue's embrace. She wanted to feel his body's warmth.
Han Jue's lips twitched, 'Xuan'er really likes to take advantage of me every time she visits.'
After calming her down, her emotions became stable and the stress lines on her beautiful face lessened.
As usual, he didn't forget to send her out.
His cultivation increase was what mattered most at the moment.
His Dao Companions could wait just a little bit longer.
His diligence could not be swayed.
"That Long Aotian was truly strange and brutal." Sitting on his Lotus Throne, Han Jue adorned a contemplating expression on his face.
"The Blank Domain, huh? What could you be hiding within you?"
There were so many mysteries and unanswered questions behind the sudden emergence of Long Aotian.
Han Jue had some suspicions that something or someone was behind the recent mayhem happening all over Chaos.
He soon ruled out that thought when the System came into the picture.
His System was the greatest Creation to ever come into existence. It was an anomalous power with incalculable potential.
He didn't care about being the Heir of the Creation Will or anything related to the Creation Will itself.
What he was most trustful to, was his own strength.
The System was just a means for him to pursue his final goal of Invincibility and Eternal life.
"System, do you know of the realm above the Creator Lord-level?" He asked casually.
[The Realm above the Creator Lord-level cannot be deduced unless the system functions are subsequently upgraded]
"Oh." So he just had to wait for his 200 millionth birthday to receive a greater reward.
"By the way, recently I have been having this unnerving feeling of being watched. Can you deduce the Karma of the culprit?"
[There is no Karma to be deduced. You are just paranoid, host]
Han Jue scrunched his nose in annoyance.
How could he not feel the sarcasm behind the system's words?
He just shrugged it off and just treated it as one of the side effects of the mysterious curses.
"The feeling you have been having is not wrong. Your survival instincts are really interesting. Were they by chance sharpened by your cowardly years?" A playful voice resounded in his lucid mind, all of a sudden.
Han Jue was shocked and looked around in alarm.
No one could enter his Dao Field, let alone his Daoist Temple without his permission. He was an omnipotent god in his own abode.
"Stop looking around for a non-existent person. You cannot be able to see me if I will it so."
"I am everywhere and nowhere. I am nothing yet I am everything." He heard the voice chuckle.
"Who are you?" Han Jue cautiously asked, his defensive DHARMIC treasures were already activated.
That person could easily bypass the Dao Field's restriction and the System's Fate detection. There was no way they were simple.
Could it be that the remnant fragment of the Creation Will's soul was no longer shading pretense?
"This has nothing to do with your lousy system." The disdain in this unknown person's voice was heavy.
Han Jue felt his mind go wild and crazy.
His heart was no longer calm as it furiously raced fast. It was as if it was doing its last cardio before tiring out.
'It must be Creation Will. Apart from him, there's no one else who knows about my most prized secret.' His thoughts were disoriented as he tried to be as optimistic as possible.
There was no one capable enough to deduce the origins of his system, right?
"Creation Will, why are doing this?" He asked while blankly looking into the thin air.
He was testing the other party's identity and the way they would reply.
Noah seeing how panicky Han Jue was, couldn't help but laugh wildly.
"Ahahahaha!"
"As expected."
"How will a protagonist behave when they find their so-called golden finger is no longer special and their well-kept secret, no longer a secret?!"
"The expression you are currently showing on your face is the perfect answer to my question..."
He then allowed himself to be perceived by Han Jue as his indescribable handsome figure materialized and became visible.
Han Jue nearly jumped off his Lotus Throne in fright.
He was prepared to turn the gears in his legs into action!
The feeling he had was merely instinctual!
At that moment, he didn't care about dignity and if it were not for a mysterious restrictive force preventing him from shooting off... he would have long ago jumped into the future due to sheer speed, hehehe.
"Han fella, you are the perfect definition of cowardice but at least, there is someone out there in the Omni-Realities who is more cowardly than you." Noah shook his head while laughing his ass off.
Han Jue gave in.
He gave up after realizing that there was no way in hell, he would be able to escape.
He felt as if he had returned to his pitiful mortal days.
He didn't take back his seat and remained standing.
He carefully looked at the mysterious man in front of him.
He had to internally praise the man as his looks were way beyond even his. He prided himself in his looks but when It came to that man, he felt inferior.
It was like a natural feeling of inferiority that takes over your mind subconsciously.
"Who are you and what is your relationship with the system?" Han Jue asked, his voice tentative enough to show that he was as nervous as fuck.
Noah stopped laughing and assumed an impassive expression.
He then pointed at the Lotus Throne. "Take a chill pill, Han fella. I am not gonna bite. Just seat your butt down there."
Han Jue's eyes widened. That person's way of speaking felt oddly familiar as if he had heard it from somewhere.
Yes, from his previous life.
Han Jue decided to take a seat, much to Noah's expectation.
"Wait... are you from Earth?" He asked in an anticipatory tone.
Noah touched his chin as if thinking about something. "Yes and no. Yes, I come from Earth and but a very different one from yours."
More like a Prime Earth of the whole Omniverse.
"So that means... you are not from this reality?" Han Jue couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"I guess you could say that."
"If you are from a different earth, then how did you know my true name?" Han Jue wanted to know how this mysterious dude knew his name.
But the reply he got... made him regret ever asking the question.
"I am more powerful than you. By very far. If you are the door, then I am the one who knocks. The Ultimate stomper of ants." Noah smirked while exaggeratively throwing his hands in the air.
"O-Okay." Han Jue was lost for words.
Then, a not-so-brilliant idea popped into his mind.
It was only through fights that he would be able to easily squeeze out some answers from this strange man, that was what he came up with.
"Why don't I experience your strength in the simulation trial?"
"Or else, how can I only believe in your statements? I clearly know that you are very powerful but..."
"My curiousness says otherwise."
Noah's brow arched in interest.
Then, his lips curved into an evil smile.
