Adam's clothes magically reappeared after the deed was done. He stood in front of Urania silently.
Unable to muster up the courage to speak.
He zipped up his front and straightened his pants properly, but was unable to stop glancing down.
'Did I do that?' He had been so immersed that fiery feeling… that he'd lost his grip on his own sanity.
What had he done…?
Even though Terran gave express permission to do this, he wasn't sure if it was right to 'dig in' or not.
Adam's moral compass was becoming wonky.
The dirty yet captivating noises Pandemos was making was also stroking his on sadistic nature.
…What was with that inviting position she took?
"Hey, wanna go another round~~?" She gently waved her ass at him and peeked from the sheets.
Her amorous beauty was melting his soul…
"I'm fine." Maybe because his cherry was recently popped, but he was a lot more rational this time.
Keeping his distance while walking off the bed.
"Awwww…" Pandemos sighed into her bedsheets in disappointment. She dropped down powerlessly.
Laying face down on the heart-shaped bed.
Her eyes glanced up to see Urania, who was looking at her 'sister' with some parts disgust…
…and other parts interest.
"I'll be taking him for a while." The white dressed woman was covering her nose with her sleeve.
Seemingly trying to block out the stench…
"Didn't you say we wouldn't interrupt each other's business? Honestly, I liked him better before you arrived." Pandemos straightened her back proudly while smearing the 'fluids' under her clothes.
An act that made her 'sister' more disturbed…
"And you said we wouldn't call each other by our True Names unless there was an urgent matter. I would rather have not seen… 'that'." When Urania glanced at Adam, he turned his back in dismay.
His composed eyes were twitching…
"Right… Sorry." The 'Aphrodite of all People' made an awkward smile, then shrugged it off innocently.
"My business is finished with him anyway." She gestured in a certain direction, which the gamer took as an opportunity to escape the situation. He made his way towards where Urania came from.
Upon seeing his back, the white dressed woman looked at her 'disgusting' sister and made clear:
"You are not to approach him again. Understood?"
"Sure…" Pandemos rolled her eyes. This wasn't the first time a 'sister' had walked in on her good time.
Seeing that her skimpy dress reappeared, she felt interested on what 'Rules' his Skills worked on.
They didn't seem the same as Gaia's directives…
Before her 'sister' left, she decided to say some words to the white dressed woman for once:
"How are you doing lately?" The modest Aphrodite stopped, turning to look at the skimpy nympho:
"I'm… fine."
"Did you see the others?"
"They're starting to take interest in reality… after someone decided to mess with time." Urania didn't say who it was, but there was only one person who was capable of doing acts like altering the timeline.
'Goldsun Loki…? That guy took interest in someone?' Now this was the first time she'd heard.
The individual in question was a man who loved pranking mortals in his spare time, but not cause a disruption this big. He'd already suffered the consequences of messing with time before too.
"Isn't 'that person' afraid? Does he want the imaginary concept of time herself to curse him again?" There was a sense of worry in her voice. It wasn't beneficial for her if he did such things.
"You're worrying about your fuck buddy?"
"Can't I? We've done some crazy things together."
"Then you might be disappointed. That girl… he has taken a liking to her. The way he looks at the little girl is… weird." This somehow made Pandemos much more colder towards the man.
"Don't tell me he's becoming a pedophile."
"Not that kind of weird. I mean… Somehow, he looks at her like they've met each other before."
"Is that even possible? That bastard has met who knows how many people. How is this special?"
"Maybe that little girl his reincarnated sibling or something." Urania shrugged in response.
"Can you check it?"
"I'll have to ask Gaia… Maybe she has the answers you want. We'll see next time… so I'm going now."
These were the last words the white-dressed woman spoke before fallowing after the gamer.
She too had a lot of thoughts about the situation.
Although it was true Goldsun Loki originally had time-warping powers even before transcending, it wasn't without costs. Without the express permission of Gaia, he shouldn't be able to do it.
Even a God had their own restrictions, and Loki himself was banned to use his powers in the past.
So… did that mean Gaia gave him permission?
…Why?
Gaia had always been a stickler for the rules imposed on herself. It'd take a lot to convince her.
So what was so important about Lucia Arcadia?
The more Urania thought about the issue, the more it seemed like that little girl was an integral piece.
She just didn't know what it fit into the equation.
As she was thinking of this important issue, she came across Adam sitting where he was intended.
She didn't need to personally guide him. There was a table in this fluffy 'love nest' with two seats.
The surroundings had changed from pink to yellow in hue, and there was an air of luxury in this place.
A different type of comfort than her sister's side.
There, Adam was drinking tea and trying to calm his nerves. His left hand kept touching his dantian.
"Did you enjoy yourself?" Even though Urania was asking this frankly without any meaning, he gulped.
When the gamer turned his gaze to look at the modest woman, things seemed to have changed.
It was very understandable for an old virgin.
However, the 'Aphrodite of the Muse' didn't see this as merely ordinary. Her eyes narrowed at him.
Since he didn't sense any ill-intent, Adam allowed her to put her hand on his head without resisting.
His forehead was sweaty…
A light shone on his head momentarily, but found his mental state becoming better thanks to this.
[Your internal psychological damage has been healed. Host is warned not force himself again.]
When he came to himself, Adam found that he had probably done way too much self-harm recently.
He answered her earlier question:
"That was… a first."
His voice a little hoarse while expressionlessly looking at the woman that rivalled Pandemos.
Her beauty was otherworldly yet elegant.
It was to the point any lecherous feelings in his heart had been stamped out by her modesty.
Urania sat down on the same table as him and grabbed the teapot and cup, pouring a little in.
Then pouring that liquid from cup to saucer.
She let the auburn tea steam on the plate for a little bit, then drank the high-quality beverage quietly.
Her eyes staying on the gamer the entire time…
Adam coughed, noticing that she wasn't saying anything and was just waiting for her to speak.
"So… you two were once the same person?" He got to the point, feeling a sense of kinship with her.
But her response wasn't what he expected:
"I wish I'd picked Kang Hyuk instead." These words made him flinch, unable to ignore that comment.
"Excuse you?"
"I'm not taking that back."
"What's so great about a pervert like him? I was seduced right then. It's HER fault about before."
"I don't care if you slept with her."
"Then…?"
"I liked you more when you were on Earth. You were a lot more mouldable… and still a virgin."
"Aha! So I was right." Adam raised from his seat and emphasised, but sat down when she gestured.
"Alright… Stay calm. I admit I didn't like that you slept with her. Still, Hyuk was a good choice."
"Then what about me?"
"Decent."
"Lies…" The gamer couldn't believe this. Even if not the best, he should be rated much higher that…!
"Let's not talk about this. You know what I'd called you for." Adam calmed himself at this bland tone.
"I also know that you and Pandemos aren't on the best of terms. Why? Weren't you closer than that?"
"…Let me introduce myself first." Rather than giving him an answer, Urania coughed before continuing:
"My name is Urania Smith. My modifier 'Aphrodite of the Muse', and I'm called the spiritual love goddess." Even though he couldn't see her dress under the table, she gestured using her skirt.
A common greeting of a Noble woman…
"Smith?"
"I've heard your own alter egos had 'Adam' as their last name. Our situation is a bit different from you."
"I'm sure… It's hard to understand why you have any bad feelings for those created from yourself."
"Is trust that east?"
"What's so easy about splitting your existence…?"
"Everything." Urania narrowed her eyes; drinking the cup of tea in her hand before clarifying herself:
"There was a reason we supported Gaia in her decision to get you back. Not all is as it seems."
"That so?" Adam held his head as if feeling both exhausted and in pain from feeling a headache.
"You don't have to be surprised by this. One can't create a family with only themselves to talk to."
"…You've told that to Terran?"
"My sister told him that. One tends to have a greater affinity for evil without self-acceptance."
"I accept myself fine,"
"You don't even accept reality, but you say you'd do it for yourself?" She caught his hypocrisy.
"…" Adam didn't answer that.
"Anyway, I have other matters to get to. Let's make our business short. Come. I'll teach you how to use Divinity and impart to you my own." Urania circled around before holding his body by the shoulders.
Standing right behind him.
He closed his eyes as if in meditation, taking in the world while listening to what she had to say:
"Gaia's Divinity is a concept of life. Specifically, it's a rule of reality. One that you have been given the ownership over." Within the darkness of his closed eyes, and felt her words were growing distant.
Still, he put great concentration on hearing her.
"What you have is the concept of 'Birth'. What that does is up to your interpretation of such a rule."
When her words finished, he found himself in the wasteland that was once his sea of consciousness.
'Birth…' He thought while looking at the decimated sky and the wasteland that was once an ocean.
'Does this necessarily mean I have to birth humans specifically?' Adam found an exploitable loophole.
The once unfamiliar energy that had been hiding within him the entire time started moving at his will.
Outside, Urania watched as he was quickly grasping her words and entering enlightenment.
A fragile state that needed great concentration.
Her hand gently caressed his face, yet the invisible chains left on her by Terran didn't react at all.
"I wish you all the happiness in the world." Like a genuine well-wisher, she put her forehead on him.
Her own Divinity flowed into his body.
She hoped he would succeed in all his endeavours by himself… without relying on unhealthy solutions.
"If you can't love yourself, you'll always be greedy for more. I hope you'll one day create your own life for yourself, rather than relying on others give you that stimulation." She remembered his state earlier.
Pure Mana radiated from his body, but this power wasn't enough to overcome the Sword Goddess.
He needed a firm will…
No, what he needed was.
'Positivity.' Maybe that sounded ridiculous, but the only reason she liked Hyuk was because of this.
Someone who could stay positive even when the world was against them was the 'strong' person.
Not someone who easily breaks from pressure.
Even if Adam became physically stronger than he was now, he wouldn't beat those with this resolve.
This kind of strength was hard to cultivate…
Maybe he would change after stabilising his decimated Sea of Consciousness by himself.
She only hoped he'd truly 'birth his own world'.
With those lingering thoughts left, she vanished.
Adam was left on his own now. The time was coming for him to attempt Red Rabbit's trial again.
She wished him the best of luck.
