Capítulo 428: The end
Two weeks later.
"Hellooo oh dear brother of mineee" came Lulu's annoyingly loud voice as she barged into Dom's office without even knocking.
Dom on the other hand was so engrossed in his work that he did not seem bothered by her presence at all, it looked like he had anticipated it.
Why wouldn't he have when it was Lulu's usually habit to just randomly barge into his office since she started working here as an intern, if Dom didn't know any better, he would think that she was doing it on purpose in order to watch him closely for no reason he was aware of.
"Mhmmm" replied Dom with a low grunt as he continued typing on his laptop as Lulu sat on the couch.
"Is that how you reply to your only sister in the whole wide world?" asked Lulu as she pouted.
"I just saw you this morning at home Lulu, and I have work to do" replied Dom seriously as Lulu scoffed.
"What a bummer, well then, I guess that I will leave and take the important information I have with me" said Lulu as she stood up dramatically.
"What information?" asked Dom as he did not spare her a glance, he just frowned, wondering what she was being dramatic about this time.
"Oh well nothing much, just information that Natasha told me, you know, seeing that we are very close and all" said Lulu as Dom's typing fingers paused on the keyboard and he looked at her.
"I thought that you would like to know, but oh was I wrong, you are too busy to be bothered with such trivial information" said Lulu as she was about to walk out of his office.
"Wait Lulu, what do you mean, what did Natasha tell you??" asked Dom as the sly smile on Lulu's face looked dubious as she slowly turned around with an innocently clueless look on her face.
"I thought you were too busy to talk to me Dom" said Lulu in a soft still tone.
"Look Lulu stop playing I actually have lots of work to do, if you want to tell me what you have to say then fine, and if not, then fine as well" replied Dom with a sigh as Lulu laughed and walked to his desk to sit across him.
"I knew you wouldn't resist knowing about what Natasha told me" said Lulu as she laughed.
"That's because she doesn't tell me anything" replied Dom.
"Can you blame her? gosh just look at yourself, you are so nosy, like a gossipy wife, but in this case a gossipy husband" said Lulu as she shook her head.
"I am not a gossipy husband, I just don't like being left in the dark" said Dom.
"You don't like not knowing things Dom, it's one of your many, many vices" said Lulu with a scoff.
"Wow thanks Lulu, what an only sister you are" replied Dom with a scoff and a shake of his head.
"Relax, well you can now rest assured, the whole thing with Agent Dians is done and dusted" said Lulu.
"How are you so sure?" asked Dom.
"Because Natasha told me about it, she said he came to her office two weeks ago, he had everything figured out, and he says that there's nothing he can do to nail his suspicions on Natasha" said Lulu.
"Well that's good... wait two weeks ago??!" asked Dom in surprise as Lulu nodded.
"Then why are you only telling me now??!" he asked in confusion as the whole thing with Dians had been setting him on edge, he had been expecting something bad to happen soon.
"Well you've been too busy to listen, I did try to tell you several times" replied Lulu with a shake of her head.
"Why didn't you just tell me either way, do you know how worried I have been thinking of if Natasha was safe??" asked Dom with a sigh.
"Right, how worried you have been" said Lulu with a scoff as Dom sighed.
"I don't blame you, if only Natasha had told me herself, there would be no need for you to be the one to tell me" said Dom.
"Well Natasha doesn't want you to know anything, you should be happy that I'm even telling you this, because we both know she wants nothing to do with you" said Lulu as Dom frowned at her, did she really have to say it that way?
"You didn't have to rub it in Lulu, you didn't have to rub it in" said Dom as he shook his head.
"Oh but I did, and whose fault is it that she basically hates you?" asked Lulu.
"Lulu, I really don't want to get into that today, I'm relieved and happy that the whole Agent Dians and Romanoff thing is over and done with" said Dom.
"You and me both bro, this entire thing was making Natasha feel very stressed" said Lulu.
"I can imagine" said Dom.
"Anyway in more important matters, when is the company's anniversary party happening?" asked Lulu as Dom's face contorted once she mentioned that.
"Not soon Lulu, not soon" replied Dom as he sighed in tiredness.
"What do you mean not soon Dom?? It's almost April, we literally are in April already, and last time I checked you literally begged me to convince Grandfather to push the celebration further, and now you are not going to keep your word??" asked Lulu in disbelief.
"It's not that Lulu, I am just stretched out super thin here, I already have a lot on my plate, and I don't want to have to add planning a joint inauguration and anniversary party" said Dom.
"Well you should have thought about that before you joined them both together like that" said Lulu as she shook her head, her only regret was that she had actually done Dom the favour of convincing Grandfather to change his mind, or else, she wouldn't have had to pressure Dom right now.
"I really should have, but I can't do anything about that now, believe me, I want to get it done and over with just like you do" said Dom.
"I doubt that Dom, just tell me when the celebration is going to happen, Grandfather is already asking me questions that I do not want to have to answer" said Lulu.
"I can't give you a definite date Lulu, if I could, then I would" said Dom.
"Dom, Dom, Dom, you just got me in trouble, I assured Grandfather that you wouldn't change the date again, and yet here you are!" said Lulu as she was obviously upset.
"I know and I'm sorry Lulu, I promise to make it up to you" said Dom as Lulu scoffed.
"Right, like you will, if you really want to make it up to me, then just choose a definite date and stick with it" said Lulu.
"I can't do that Lulu, that would throw an entire schedule of many into utter chaos, I can't plan a celebration and run the company at the same time" said Dom.
"Easy fix, just ask for help then, why don't you ask mom? I am sure that she will be able to help you plan everything, it's not that hard" said Lulu.
"I don't want to ask mom for help" said Dom as he sighed.
"And why not? she would be more than happy to help" said Lulu.
"She has other things to do" said Dom as Lulu scoffed.
"You are so annoying, no she doesn't you know she would love to plan an event for the company like old times, you just don't want to do it" said Lulu.
"In that case since you claim you are so busy, you don't have to worry about the celebration at all, I will handle it with mom" said Lulu.
"You don't have to do that Lulu" said Dom.
"Oh no, I have to and I will, so we can put this entire thing behind us, you don't even need to sign off on the celebration, I will take care of everything" said Lulu.
"And that includes the date, the celebration will happen on the 15th, which gives me two weeks of planning that is more than enough, all you have to do is show up" said Lulu as Dom said nothing, the look on Lulu's face told him that arguing with her was out of the question.
"Fine Lulu" said Dom.
"Good, we are on the same page, I better get started, and oh you are so totally paying me for the extra work I'm doing as an event planner" said Lulu as she stood up.
"It's your company too Lulu" said Dom.
"Yeah no it's not Dom, I will demand for my payment" said Lulu as she walked to the door and Dom shook his head.
"Fine I'll pay you in chocolates" said Dom as Lulu turned around.
"How old do you think I am? no way I'm no longer ten, you are going to pay me in real money" said Lulu as Dom laughed.
"Right, and if I pay you, you need to start paying rent, because last time I checked, you live in my house and eat my food, watch my television and waste my electricity" said Dom.
"Oh keep them coming Dom, I need enough evidence against you when I tell Natasha my wonderful sister in law who would totally disagree with what you are saying" said Lulu.
"You wouldn't dare tell Natasha" said Dom as he narrowed his eyes at her.
"Try me Dom, try me, you know I'm that petty" said Lulu as Dom groaned and threw his pen at her which she dodged.
"Ha ha, ha missed me, what happened to your aim huh??" asked Lulu as she threw his pen back at him and taunted him.
"You make me act so immature with your annoyance" said Dom as he scoffed and Lulu stuck out her tongue at him.
"I'm a little sister, that's what I do" replied Lulu.
"Ahh so you know, let's stop this nonsense, I will pay you, but don't demand for an unreasonable amount Lulu, I am warning you" said Dom as Lulu snickered at him and left his office, making Dom wonder what sort of sinister little sister he had.
