Dom did not need to be a detective to know that Romanoff was Romanoff, it was clear, everything about him spoke about mystery, and his accent was a giveaway.
So this was the fake uncle that Natasha had, Dom did not like the way he was looking at all, everything about Romanoff spelt danger, and yet Natasha was involved with this man.
Dom did not even know what was going on here, but considering that both Romanoff and Natasha were speaking in Russian, they did not want him here, but he was going nowhere.
"I am Dominic White" said Dom.
"I know that, and I know you very well, I mean I know a lot about your company, you are a very successful business man" said Romanoff with a smile.
"And at such a young age too, you should be proud" said Romanoff.
"I thank you for your compliment, but the company is where it is because of the hard work of my father and grandfather" said Dom.
"Ahh a modest man, I admire that" said Romanoff with a smile, Natasha did not like this little conversation going on between Dom and Romanoff, knowing Dom she was sure that he would start asking many questions that she did not want him to have answers to.
"You did not tell me that you were coming" said Natasha as Romanoff looked at her.
"Do I need to tell my beloved niece that I am coming to see her, and also, I wanted to see the rebenok (child) Joy" said Romanoff with a smile.
"You should have called first, so I would have been prepared" said Natasha as she was trying so hard not to raise her voice in anger.
"Let's be honest devochka (girl) if I had called, you would not let me come here" said Romanoff.
"Ahh so you know, then you shouldn't have come" said Natasha as Romanoff just smiled.
"Jean greets you, I wanted her to come but she had to go to work" said Romanoff with a smile.
"Well Jean unlike her father, knows to inform someone before coming to visit them" said Natasha in an annoyed tone as Romanoff did not seem to mind that she was annoyed.
Natasha looked at Dom, she wanted him to leave, but she knew that he would not leave.
"Leave" said Natasha as she looked at Dom who looked at her.
"This is as much my house as it is yours, and I choose to stay" replied Dom calmly as he sat down on the couch, he was going nowhere, and if Natasha was to continue insist that he leave, he would remind her that she had said the same thing before.
Natasha scoffed, she was so angry at Romanoff, he had just caused her discomfort, she knew that Dom would never leave now, never.
"So that is the father of Joy, your husband" said Romanoff as Natasha looked at him and she glared at him.
"He is not that handsome, you could have done better" said Romanoff as he looked at Natasha.
"I know" replied Natasha.
"You should have told me when you wanted to get married, I would have gotten you a husband from our village back in Russia, we have very handsome men, who love their wives and take care of their children" said Romanoff.
"Excuse me?" asked Dom as he was not sure of what he was hearing.
"You are excused" replied Romanoff with a smile.
"I didn't know you at that time, and there is nothing I can change now, I already made my choice" said Natasha.
"I do not know what is with you women and American men" said Romanoff.
"Just look at your mother, instead of coming back home, she went to go and marry and American guy named Larry" said Romanoff with a scoff.
"Don't you dare say anything about my father, he was a good man, you know what you and your people did to him" said Natasha.
"Alright, alright" said Romanoff.
"Is he like your father?" asked Romanoff as he pointed at Dom.
"Not the slightest bit" replied Natasha.
"I can see it, he looks like a child" said Romanoff as Dom could not believe that he was being insulted right now.
"Hey, I am right here you know" said Dom as he could not believe that they were both insulting him right in front of his face.
"We know" said Romanoff and Natasha in a chorus as they both turned to look at Dom who looked at them in disbelief, but he still was not going anywhere, they could badmouth him all they wanted, but he was going to hear everything that they would be discussing.
"Anyway devochka (girl) there is nothing you can do, you already have a child for him" said Romanoff.
"I don't think you came here to talk about my life decisions now do you?" asked Natasha.
"No, not at all, Mr. White, it seems that I will be in need of your services" said Romanoff with a smile as he looked at Romanoff.
"In what way?" asked Dom as he looked at Romanoff.
"You see, there is a certain cargo that I want delivered from Russia, do your cargo ships go there?" asked Romanoff as Dom looked at Natasha who shook her head.
"We go everywhere and anywhere, as long as you are ready to pay for our services" said Dom.
"I see" said Romanoff.
"Yes, and may I know exactly what cargo you want to carry?" asked Dom.
"Oh just some many personal things, I just wanted to know if you would be able to do it" said Romanoff.
"if you need more information you can just contact me" said Dom.
"I will do just that" said Romanoff with a smile as his phone rang.
"Ahh, I have to go now devochka (girl) we will talk some other time" said Romanoff as he looked at Natasha.
"It was nice meeting you Mr. White" said Romanoff as he looked at Dom and he smiled.
"Just call me Dom" said Dom as Romanoff laughed and he walked away leaving Natasha and Dom in the room.
"He wants the cargo of weapons to be moved, that's evidence right?" asked Dom as he looked at Natasha and spoke as soon as he was sure that Romanoff was gone.
"No, Romanoff won't do that, he's too smart to think that" said Natasha.
"If anything, he is getting suspicious on why the cargo ship hasn't left yet, and he came here for answers" said Natasha as she was thinking, she was sure of it.
"Then shouldn't we just report this to the Police already, after all we knew nothing about it" said Dom.
"No, not yet, we don't have evidence, and the company could easily be framed as a front for illegal activities" said Natasha as Dom sighed.
"Then what do we do?" asked Dom.
"I'm working on it, trust me, everything will end very soon" said Natasha.
"Can you at least tell me what you are planning?" asked Dom.
"No I can't, the less you know, the less you can be implicated if everything goes wrong" said Natasha as she didn't want the company and family name to be tarnished because of this.
"And what about you? You can get implicated" said Dom.
"I can take care of myself" said Natasha.
"Don't tell me that Natasha, I am worried" said Dom.
"You don't have to worry about me Mr. White, I will be fine, I know what to do not to implicate myself, I'm not dumb" said Natasha.
"I never said that you were dumb Natasha, you might think that you will can take career of yourself, but that still doesn't matter, I am worried" said Dom.
"Just don't get in my way, I don't need you worrying about me" said Natasha.
"You know I can't do that Natasha, let's be honest, I won't stay out of it, and you won't keep me out of it, I won't allow you get yourself into trouble" said Dom.
"This concerns the company, so I will be involved Natasha, you know that, keep me involved" said Dom as Natasha sighed, she knew that she would not be able to chase him away now, he was right.
"Alright fine, but still stay out of it, don't push me, when I have new information, I will tell you, don't you dare ask me for it because I won't say anything" said Natasha.
"Alright fine, agreed, I won't ask, but you will keep me informed" said Dom as Natasha nodded.
"Good, now you can leave my office now" said Natasha as Dom stood up as he was about to leave when he remembered something.
"What kind of relationship do you and Romanoff have?" asked Dom as he looked at Natasha.
"He's my uncle, what do you think?" asked Natasha with a raised eyebrow.
"Right…" said Dom as he shook his head and he walked away.
