Dinner
As Natasha opened the door she was met with a little, big, cute, lovely surprise.
"Mommy!!" said Joy as she excitedly ran to hug her mother.
"My baby??" said Natasha as she was surprised, she spread her arms wide and she hugged Joy and carried her.
"Were you waiting for me??" asked Natasha as she looked at Joy.
"Yes Mommy" said Joy as she nodded her head cutely.
"Where did you go mommy??" asked Joy.
"You were gone the whole day, so I was waiting for you" said Joy as she looked sat.
"Awww my baby, I am sorry for going without telling you" said Natasha.
"Mommy had some important things to do today, so she went out early" said Natasha as she explained to Joy.
"Madam, welcome home" said Alfred as he walked into the room.
"I am sorry, I told Joy that you went out, but she insisted on watching the door and waiting for you to come home" said Alfred, he never knew that the Young Miss could be so stubborn, this was the first time he had seen her like that.
But at the same time it was very funny and cute the way that she was determined to wait for her mother to return home.
"Oh that's alright Alfred" said Natasha as she laughed and Alfred smiled.
"If you would please excuse me Madam, I would like to go and check on dinner" said Alfred.
"Oh it's fine Alfred, go ahead" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Thank you Madam, and once again welcome home" said Alfred as he smiled.
"Thank you Alfred" said Natasha as she smiled.
"So what did you do today my baby?" asked Natasha as she looked at Joy as they were the only people in the room.
"Nothing mommy, I waited for you" said Joy.
"You did nothing my baby??" asked Natasha and Joy nodded.
"Nothing at all??" asked Natasha and Joy nodded once again.
"So you did not brush your teeth, take a shower, eat breakfast??" asked Natasha as she laughed and ticked Joy.
"No Mommy" said Joy as she laughed.
"I brushed my teeth, and I took a shower, and I also ate breakfast, and then I waited for you to come back" said Joy as she laughed.
"Oh I see now my baby" said Natasha as she smiled.
She had to think of what to do, she would be going out more often now, and Joy could not just waste her whole day waiting for her to come back, either she would have to take Joy out with her, or she had to find something else to do.
"Mommy, how was your day?" asked Joy
"Aww my baby it was good, I did something very nice today" said Natasha as she smiled.
"What was that Mommy??" asked Joy.
"Well I bought shares in a company today" said Natasha.
"What am I even saying, you don't even know what shares are" said Natasha as she laughed at herself.
"Oh no, no Mommy, I do, I know what shares are" said Joy as she nodded her head.
"Oh you do?" asked Natasha and Joy nodded.
"Well what are they my baby?" asked Natasha as she wanted to see if Joy was knew what shares were exactly.
"Well Daddy says that shares are parts of a company that people buy to join the company like a family" said Joy.
"Oooh my baby, good Job, that is a bit like how it is" said Natasha as she laughed, the proud look on Joy's face was just funny, and Natasha was impressed.
"So Mommy why did you buy shares?" asked Joy as she looked at her mother with her big doe eyes.
"Well my baby because like you said, I wanted to join a family, a family of shareholders" said Natasha, except for in her case she was the sole owner since she bought all of the shares.
"Oh I see mommy" said Joy as she seemed to understand.
"Hello Natasha" came the voice of a woman as she did not even knock on the front door and she just entered the house, which cut short the conversation between the mother and child.
"Lia??" asked Natasha in surprise as she turned around to see Lia standing at the now open front door.
"When did you arrive?" asked Natasha as she was sure that was actually.
"This morning" replied Lia.
"How are you Natasha?" she asked as she walked towards Natasha.
"I am good Lia" said Natasha as she put Joy down.
"And how are you Lia? And how was your trip?" asked Natasha as she looked at Lia.
"I am good Natasha, and my trip was good too" said Lia.
"I went to Dom's office earlier, and we had lunch together" said Lia.
"Oh that's nice Lia" said Natasha as she did not care at all.
"Ooooh you must be Joy, I have heard so much about you" said Lia as her eyes moved to Joy who was just watching the interaction of the two adults.
"Last time I saw you, you were just a baby, look how grown up you are" she said with a smile.
Joy hid behind her mother, she did not know this woman, and she was scared.
"My baby, this is your Aunty Lia" said Natasha.
"Really?" asked Joy as she looked up at her mother.
"Yes my baby, so go give her a hug" said Natasha as she smiled.
Joy did as she was told, she stopped hiding behind Natasha and she walked towards Lia who was waiting for a hug and she hugged her.
"Hello Aunty Lia" said Joy.
"Hello Joy" said Lia as she smiled.
"Madam Dinner is re…" said Alfred as he walked into the room.
"Miss Cecilia?" asked Alfred in shock.
"Haha Hello Alfred" said Lia as she was just giving everyone a surprise today.
Cecilia Thomas was Natasha's friend, in their friend group they had all been friends since childhood, Cecilia had studied abroad in Europe, which was why she had left the country, but now she had returned and she was giving everyone a surprise with news of her return.
"This is such a big surprise" he said.
"Haha Alfred, how are you? I see that you have not aged at all" said Lia as she laughed.
"I am well Miss Cecilia, and I could say the same for you" said Alfred as he laughed.
"Ahh Madam, I came to inform you that dinner is ready" said Alfred as he turned to look at Natasha.
"Oh well that's alright Alfred" said Natasha.
"Lia would you like to stay for dinner?" asked Natasha as she turned to look at Lia.
"Sure why not, it will give us time to catch up" said Lia as she smiled.
"And also for me to get to know this little cutie" she said as she pinched Joy's cheeks and laughed.
"Well okay then" said Natasha.
"Alfred would you mind setting another plate for Lia?" asked Natasha as she turned to Alfred.
"That is not a problem Madam" said Alfred as he smiled.
"Thank you Alfred" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Please excuse me" said Alfred as he went to the dining table.
…
"So how is life in Europe?" asked Natasha as she ate her food.
"Life there is wonderful" said Lia as she ate, she, Natasha and Joy were having dinner together.
"That is nice to hear" said Natasha.
"Are you going back or…?" asked Natasha.
The exact same thing had happened in her past life, except for not in this way exactly, she was crying when Lia showed up and returned, which led to her complaining about her life all night long.
"I finished my course over there, so I have decided to come back home for good" said Lia as she smiled.
"Europe is nice and all, but I missed my family and you guys" said Lia as she smiled.
"Hmm, that is nice" said Natasha, Lia had said the exact same thing in her last life, it was not like she did not trust Lia, no it was far from it, they were close but not too close, but considering what happened in her last life, she had decided not to trust anyone anyhow, only those who she was truly sure off.
"I take it that you have already seen Charlie and Nine" said Natasha as drank her water.
"Yes, yes I have, I went there before I came over here, but I did not see Michael though, Charlie said that he was on a mission" said Lia.
"Yes, he is" said Natasha as she put her glass down.
"Dom said that he was not coming for dinner, he said he had lots of work to do, you know how much of a workaholic he is" said Lia as she laughed.
"Yes, yes he is" said Natasha as she smiled and did nothing more.
"Mommy, I am done with my dinner, may I go to my room?" asked Joy as she looked at Natasha.
"Sure my baby, you may go" said Natasha as she looked at Joy and she smiled.
"Thank you mommy" said Joy as she pushed out her chair, she was getting better at doing that, and she ran and hugged her mother with a kiss.
"What about me?" asked Lia.
Joy looked at her mother for approval and her mother nodded her head.
"See you later Aunty" said Joy as she hugged Lia and Lia smiled.
"Bye my baby" said Natasha as she smiled as Joy left the dining room.
