Capítulo 118: Checking

"Color my hair? Are you sure?" She asked as she unwrap her hair from the towel. She scrubbed her hair, making sure to avoid the spot where Iris pulled and got wounded. 

"Yes. Chestnut. Let's color your hair chestnut," she said, taking the bottle of hair color from Monette's hands.

"Sit down. I don't have all the time in the world for you. I have to do the laundry and my homework." 

Monette clicked her tongue. Her brow was starting to raise in annoyance with the tone of Elvira's voice and the manner of her speaking towards her. 

"You must be really popular with that attitude of yours," she said with a sneer. 

Elvira did not react to the sarcasm in Monette's voice. She just looked at her and scoffed. 

"Sit down." 

Monette sat down because there was something in Elvira's voice that made her sit even when she didn't want to. She had the air and authority that no one would assume with the way she looks.
