Capítulo 59: Where It Began

She was still self-pitying when her stomach grumbled, pulling her out of her dark thoughts and breaking the silence of the room that made the man who was sitting quietly in the corner stand up from his chair. 

"You should eat." 

"What's your name?" She asked, staring at the man when she realized that he was towering over her. She saw her behind the wheel and sitting down, she didn't realize that he was very tall. 

"Mariano," he said, walking to the door, opening it wide, and waiting for Iris to start walking. 

"Are you working with Calixto? You aren't going to guard me twenty-four seven, are you?" She asked, ready to fight him if he would say yes.

"I follow Calixto's order." 

Iris rolled her eyes. Until now she cannot understand why there are people who can't refuse Calixto whenever he does his voodoo on them.
