Resumen
Xiao Ran transmigrated to a fantasy world. As a dungeon guard in the Celestial Dungeon, with a special floor called the Purgatory meant for powerful demons and martial arts experts, he faced a huge challenge from the start. The Eldest Princess acquired a forbidden martial arts technique and was banished to the Purgatory. However, no one was powerful enough to restrain her. All the dungeon guards were defeated. Xiao Ran stepped up and declared, “Your Highness, it's better for you to behave yourself on my territory” and effortlessly subdued the Eldest Princess.
He progressed from imprisoning the Eldest Princess to delivering the Great Xia Kingdom from the evil clutches of various demons and evil martial arts experts.

Escribe una reseñaReminds me of a much better novel called thirty years of demon slaying at the demon slaying department. Go read that basically the same novel just more detailed.

I Transmigrated as a Prison Guard and Suppressed the Princess is a story about Xiao Ran, someone who became a prison guard and got a cheat that allows him to get various rewards for imprisoning/executing criminals. I can't really say this novel is any good to be honest. It's another one of those novels with a weird synopsis that doesn't really tell you anything, the clickbait form of novels. Translation quality is meh. It's fairly decent compared to some other novels but it isn't that great overall. (4/5 stars) Story development is awful. So, we immediately are thrown into the middle of the story to prevent readers from forming any sort of attachment to the main character. The author only throws us some vague monologues about how the main character transmigrated/got his system. Now, this is basically a typical overpowered main character cultivation novel. He constantly fights super-weak enemies that he can easily one shot, yet somehow this takes multiple chapters. He gets so many rewards it's ridiculous. Aside from that, the main character imprisons the princess. She cultivated a evil technique and will occasionally flare up with evil symptoms. The only way to stop this (apparently) is for the main character to continuously punch her in the face. The first time it happened, it was somewhat amusing. Second time it happened I'm already bored. The fifth time it happened I realized the author was literally just copy and pasting what happened previously. A lot of people will say "author copy and pastes" to show how repetitious the plot is, but the author in this novel literally copy and pastes the same situation over and over again. Furthermore, no one questions why several plots to break into the prison and break someone out mysteriously fail. Not the prison, nor the people on the outside. Everyone just thinks they slipped and died or something. Anyway, super boring, bland, etc. (1/5 stars) Character design isn't great either. Main character is absolutely emotionless. The author pulled out every stop in order to prevent people from forming any sort of attachment with the main character. Aside from that, every character follows typical cultivation plot. An IQ of 60 is considered top-tier genius level where you are basically omniscient. Average IQ is about 10. Theres no character in this novel that is likeable, every character is as bland as the last. Theres nothing to keep you hooked either. (2/5 stars) World background is questionable. We have the land the main character is in, known for not letting any criminal escape from the prison. In forty chapters, theres already been MANY prison escapes that would've happened without the main character. Evil runs rampant in the land so much I wonder how the kingdom even functions. Aside from that, why even have a prison? This is a cultivation world where if the prison failed, there are now hundreds of powerful evil cultivators running rampant with a grudge towards your land. Just kill them. There is no merit to having a prison in the first place. (2/5 stars) Overall, zero thought was put into this novel. It's a mindless overpowered main character cultivation novel. Characters are bland and boring, story makes no sense, and world background is filled with a ridiculous amount of holes. I give this novel 2.8 stars out of 5.
Another novel with the so called "got strong secretly" but every chapter the mc will go out and interfere in something that can be avoided in the first place
It looks like author is new, so there are many mistakes. The story feels monotonous, without any emotion. Characters feel shallow. World background is not detailed and is written in confusing manner. And after mc appearance in story, other characters become weak and dumb. I will not spoil it, when you read it, you will understand after seeing so many prisoners. Conclusion:- Below average 👎 Reading status:- 17 chapters
If there are negative stars I would have gladly given them but it restricted to 1 star. The story was somewhat okay but MC is absolute pathetic.
Revelar spoilerEverything was ok at the beginning until the latest chapters. Translation is bad and looks more mtl than before ...........................................
A disgusting of of a author and his disgusting of of a mc... I knew Chinese authors are disgusting when writing novels most of the times but yet again they proven that they are more disgusting than i thought ...
not a bad story. but as usual with many stories on Webnovel the editing starts out good and then goes to the dump. first 110 chapters are good quality. Then it starts to degrade fast. missing punctuation, missing captilization for names, incorrect grammar, changing established names, etc. if the quality of the chapters editing had stayed the same I would rate it as 3/5. good to read to pass the time. I give it q star due to the usual drop of good quality to garbage editing.
Translation quality drops to MTL standards after a hundred chapters without any interesting plot to make it worth struggling to read a MTL
Having read the 40 available free chapters my verdict is: A pretty okay "strong guy hiding his powers" novel. The translation has made some strange choices (cultivation is "evolution", acupoints are "shoulder bones") but it's pretty good if you ignore that. The basic story concept is that the MC's cheat allows him to get stronger by imprisoning and/or killing (also maybe torturing, not entirely clear) "sinners". Every time he imprisons or kills someone, his cheat pops out with a list of all the crimes they've committed and rewards him according to the power level of the criminal, thus, he works as a prison guard in the imperial dungeons where he is often given tasks to imprison/execute powerful criminals. When the story begins he is already stronger than all the strong experts around and about at par with the "old monster" style experts hidden behind the scenes, so he can more or less do what he wants (at least in the "starting zone"). However, after 40 chapters, "what he wants" isn't really clear. His personality hasn't really been fleshed out at all. He uses his OP powers to protect the few guards who are closest to him but lets other guards die without batting an eye. He also helps the princess in the title (after suppressing her in the first chapter of course) but only enough to not let her die. Every time he saves her he immediately becomes cold again and says some one-liner about not getting involved with the imperial family (even though saving her life over and over again is about as "involved" as he could possibly be with her). Oh, and he saves her by punching her face over and over again. This happens many times. It's very "hilarious", and probably only so the author can tell everyone that his main character isn't a simp. Mostly, what the MC seems to "want" is one, to secretly kill the ghosts and demons haunting the capital in order to farm them like exp and get stronger and, two, to earn mortal money so he can buy a house. Anyway, even if the humor falls a little flat and the story doesn't have a clear direction as of chapter 40, I still feel like it's a solid recommend. The MC is the archetypal super strong "good to his friends and ruthless to his enemies" characters, so nothing ground breaking there - not adding or subtracting points. Meanwhile, the cheat is somewhat unique and gives the author a good excuse to exposit about how bad the baddies are even after they're dead and assure the readers that the MC isn't a psycho who kills indiscriminately. I read some reviews that said that the author seems like a new author, and I don't know if that's true or not, but I feel like they're a pretty good author. At least, they were able to write a few cool and even moving scenes in the first 40 chapters. So, again, a recommend overall.
Mc is op. low profile. denser than a black hole. It is the first time I have a few years ago I was going on with the other hand if I had a lot to be desired by the end of Tdesired he

Revelar spoilerokay this is my last review for this novel i try and give it a go but it didnt get any better and it become MTL and your fking charging money with this kind of translation? so i will just point it out a bit so Zi Luan is looking for saint fruit to cure her but the old dude told her that his whole sect betray him and ruin him telling her not to trust elder Bai and leave asap but the Zi Luan the idiot still want the fruit and they even put poison in the fruit and she still want to eat the fruit? why not test it first to see if the fruit is safe to eat? and this is one of the stupid char in the novel and there are a lot more.. so im just saving you sometime dont read this trash or waste your time because it not worth it, I'm done with this novel also.
Revelar spoilerI dont know why people are review bombing it for no reason but i think it good read since you aren't hearing anything from the other reviews here Mc is a jail guard of some kingdom and since he has a golden finger that allows he to basically loot the jailed. It simple and gold compared to the latest new releases
no....just no------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
