Capítulo 23: Sirzechs
After spending the day with us, Zeoticus Gremory, my grandfather went back to the Underworld as he wanted to show the videos to his wife as well.
The others stayed for the dinner, which was made by the combined effort of Grayfia, Tsubaki and Akeno, and we discussed more about the Underworld's civilization during the dinner.
"Since it has been decided that you're joining Alexander's Peerage, you should come with us to the Underworld too, Aika." Irina stated and grabbed the pervert's attention.
"You can use the term slave with me, Irina. I don't mind." Aika solemnly shook her head, "And I would ask my parents about the vacation trip, because it will only bring me closer to my Master."
"Can you knock it off?" I shot her an annoyed glare.
Serafall scoffed and gave me a disgusted look, "Your son has already started enslaving people, Sirzechs." She remarked to her fellow Maou, "First, he bewitched my Sona-tan and now he has manipulated this innocent human. Not even the big guy would've been able to tell what he's going to do next."
'Turn a Dragon into my pet?' I thought and curiously titled my head, 'Nah, that sounds farfetched.' I scoffed and shook my head.
"Nee-sama."
"Yes, Sona-tan!" Serafall's mood instantly brightened up.
Sona grumbled because Serafall didn't even let her ask the question, "I wanted to ask, do you know who are going to attend the Peace Treaty Conference on this Saturday?"
"Michael and Azazel have confirmed their participation, but we don't know whom they are going to bring along." Serafall answered with a shrug.
"Since it's a meeting between the Three Factions after a long time, I am sure there's going to be a show of power." Sirzechs added with an amused smirk, "Rias can show off the host of Boosted Gear on her side, while Sona has the Vritra in her Peerage."
"You can't forget the Holy Longinus." Serafall remarked and annoyingly glanced at me, "And also all the 7 Fragments of the Holy Sword Excalibur."
"I never got to ask." Sirzechs realised and curiously looked at me, "Is it real, what you said about Excalibur?"
"Excalibur is mine." I made a firm declaration, "Anyone who says otherwise can drop dead."
"Are you really a Devil?" Rias frowned at me, "I mean, you have two immensely powerful Holy Artefacts in your body."
"Even an ultimate-class Devil would've choked to death under such pressure." Xenovia said in agreement and turned to me, "Even the mention of Big guy does not affects him, nor his prayers."
"Are you the reincarnation of God?" Irina asked blatantly and most Devils flinched at the mention of his name, "Sorry.." She awkwardly apologised all the Devils in the room.
I quietly noted that the Satan class were not as affected as the other lower Class Devils present in the room compared to them. Even Grayfia was a Satan Class Devil, even if she wasn't titled as a Satan.
"That cannot be possible." Grayfia shook her head at Irina's theory, "He's the Son of a Pure-blood Devil. It's a mystery, or just that Alexander already knows why and has not revealed it us yet."
"Yeah, he's hiding a lot of things." Sirzechs nodded at his Queen and meaningfully smirked at me, "Even the Blindfold." He pointed out, "I can tell its a source to immense power that's beyond my comprehension."
"Beyond your comprehension?" Tsubaki choked on her food and Koneko helped her with some water.
Everyone turned to look at me as if I was some monster, "As if." I snorted in response and continued to eat my food by ignoring them.
"Then take off your blindfold." Serafall smirked at me in challenge.
"Oh, Fuck off." I rolled my eyes, "As if I am going to react to such dumb provocation." Grayfia helped me refill my plate as I tried to get more food.
"I bet, your eyes have the power to hypnotise people and you used it to steal my Sona-tan!" Serafall whined childishly.
"I haven't seen his eyes." Sona replied with a straight face.
"That's because he wants you to think that!" Serafall reasoned with an annoyed pout, "And stop taking his side!"
Sona narrowed her eyes at the foolish behaviour and continued to quietly savour her meal.
"My mom has texted me." Aika looked at me, "I should head back after dinner, so use your magic to drop me."
"I am not a tool." I grumbled with an annoyed twitch on my eyebrows.
"So you're going to walk me back home?" Aika suggested and smirked mischievously, "Take me home, Master. Or, maybe not~"
"I'll whoop your ass back to your home." I snorted with an amused smirk.
"By the way, where are you going to stay, Nii-sama?" Rias turned to her brother, "Our apartment has no guest rooms. Maybe we can adjust if I sleep at Akeno's room for the night."
"You don't have to worry." Sirzechs shook his head and innocently smiled at me, "I'll sleep in your room."
Aika gasped with a deep blush on her cheeks and I immediately placed my hand on her mouth, before a disaster could occur in the room.
"Ara Ara~" Akeno giggled mischievously by herself and grinned at me.
"I have arranged the guest room for you, Sirzechs-sama." Grayfia stated with a meaningful smile.
"Then where would you sleep, Grayfia-san?" Xenovia asked and I realised they don't know.
"Oh?" Sirzechs smirked at me when he noticed my flustered expression, "Grayfia hasn't told me anything regarding this."
"She's.." I clenched my fists with my heart racing heavily, "She's mine." I firmly stared back at him.
"Ara.." Akeno was astounded by the twist, while it took some time for the others to realise what I meant.
"I knew you had a thing for her." Even Aika was astonished by honesty and grinned at me, "Go for it, Alex."
"W-What are you saying?" Grayfia froze on her spot with a mad blush spreading on her cheeks, "Y-You idiot...!"
"I didn't mean it that way!" I immediately defended myself as everyone had clearly misunderstood my declaration.
"I guess you're way ahead of me, Grayfia." Sirzechs looked at his Queen with an envious expression, "You got the early start, but I won't admit defeat."
"O-Of course." Grayfia composed herself with a deep breath and stared back at her King.
After the sudden commotion died down and the dinner was over, everyone started teleporting back to their home after expressing their gratitude for inviting them to the meal. I didn't take any credit, because the thanks for the Dinner completely went to the three Queen.
Although, Serafall did piss me off when she intimately groped Sona's breasts and seductively licked her lips at me, while they were on the teleportation circle.
Half my mind wanted to chase after her and beat some sense into her to stay away from Sona. But in the end, she was her biological elder sister.
"Come, I'll drop you off." I stated when I saw Aika had already finished her dinner and was waiting for me. I took her hand and we teleported in the backyard of her house.
"Good night, Aika. I'll see you tomorrow at school." I stated and was about to teleport back, when Aika suddenly pulled my shoulder and stood on her toes to capture my lips.
"Good night, Master." Aika genuinely smiled at me and went towards the front door.
'This girl..' I sighed with a fond smile and teleported back.
Although, when I got into my room, I saw that Sirzechs was already in my room and using a mastress and pillow to sleep on the floor.
Grayfia gave me an helpless shrug, "Try not kill him. I'll be at Rias' place for the night."
"B-But, why Rias?" I was a little disappointed by her decision, "You can take the next room?"
"Everyone has started gathering in the town." Grayfia stated seriously, "It's for security reasons."
"Fine."
Grayfia embraced me into a hug and kissed on my forehead, "Good night."
"You too." I kissed her back on her forehead and chuckled at her shy expression.
She ruffled my hairs with a sweet smile and went downstairs.
I went inside the room and closed the door behind me, "So." I glared at the man who was laying on the sleeping mattress with a peaceful expression.
"You don't know how many times I have dreamed about spending a night like this with you." Sirzechs chuckled by himself and turned to me with a fond smile, "Aren't you going to sleep?"
I sighed with a heavy heart and went to my bed. The room's lights were already turned off, with the exception of a dim yellow lit on a corner of the ceiling.
I laid on my bed and stared at the ceiling with my right arm resting over my forehead, "Are you really the strongest Devil?" I asked curiously.
"In the terms of Power, I am." Sirzechs replied with a smile, "But my friend, Ajuka Beelzebub, he's also strong as me, but his expertise lay in the science of Magic and creation of new things."
"Do you know, he was the one who created the Evil peices?" He stated with a chuckle, "He also managed to get us our own territory in the Dimensional Gap, which we use to host the Rating Games amongst the Devils."
"Rating Game." I nodded, "I have heard the term from Grayfia before, when she was telling me about Rias' engagement."
"Ah, that." Sirzechs laughed a little, "Honestly, that wasn't even a proper rating game. While Riser is one of the top champions at the game, Rias is a complete newbie and lacks the number in her Peerage to compete officially."
"If you get a Peerage on time, you might be able to compete in the New Devil Rating Game tournament." Sirzechs informed me excitedly, "It would be a good way to create a lasting impression amongst the Devils and other Factions, because Rating game is not just popular amongst the Devils, but the whole Supernatural world."
"Aren't you worried that I might garner unwanted attention?" I snorted in response, "It would be more trouble than fun."
"Oh, I would like to know which fool tries to cause trouble." Sirzechs chuckled sinisterly, "I have the power to even tople over the Heavens if I want to. Are you curious why I haven't done that in all these years?"
"First, It's Morally wrong and has no benefits." I replied, "Second, Spilling too much blood can be distasteful, especially when the other party has nothing personal with you."
"Personal, that's the word." Sirzechs pointed out, "You do get it."
"What, you think I am some fool?" I frowned in response, "How many times do you think I could've killed you if I wanted to?"
"Oh, I don't doubt you." Sirzechs laughed, "I am not scared of your Holy toys, but I can tell you're ridiculously strong."
"Then you should be more scared of me." I scoffed.
"Why should I be scared of my own son?" Sirzechs asked genuinely, "I know that I have been a bad father, but I am a good person. After all, despite knowing that I am a Devil, your mother still loved me."
"And the fact she did, aggravates me." I groaned, "What did she see in you anyways? I know she wasn't the type to fall for good looking guys."
"So I am good looking." Sirzechs grinned at the compliment, "To be honest, she was very similar to how you are right now. She was expressive with her emotions and open about what she felt for someone, though admittedly, she smiled a lot more than you."
"I still carry a picture of her around with me." He stated and I curiously leaned down from the bed towards him.
"Blonde?" I was stupefied when I looked at my mom's picture, "She even wore contacts." I took the picture from him and stared at it in amazement.
"She was hella stubborn and had kicked me in the balls when we had met for the first time, because she misunderstood that I was hitting on her." Sirzechs laughed at his fond memories, "She was a dangerous woman, I tell you. Kicking someone in the balls at the Amaterasu temple."
"Shinto Gods are different from that God?" I noticed the discomfort on his face when I mentioned him.
"Gods have Factions." Sirzechs explained, "The God from heaven is the one responsible for the creation of the Three Factions and watching over the majority of humans, the Christian religion. The other Godly Faction have thier own religion. For example, Shinto Gods in Japan and Hindu Gods in India. There's also Asgardian and Greek Gods, but they don't live in the Human Realm."
"Asgard and Olympus." I nodded in acknowledgment, since their mythologies weren't exactly a secret.
"You know your stuff." Sirzechs smiled in response and yawned softly, "What are you going to do if the Heavens ask for the Holy Sword?"
"They can try." I answered nonchalantly, "And I don't mean it in an arrogant way. Honestly, they can try. But spoiler, they would fail miserably."
"As long as you don't start a War, it's fine." Sirzechs chuckled in response, "There's a reason we have named this conference as the Peace Treaty."
"Yeah, I am not stupid." I rolled my eyes, "I'll give you a chance." I stated seriously after making a thoughtful decision, "But the moment you fuck up, I swear, I'll cut whatever ties I have with you. Of course, Grayfia is exception."
"You really love her, don't you?" Sirzechs sighed enviously, "I hope I can reach that level some day."
"Keep dreaming." I yawned and turned over on my bed, "Now stop babbling and go to sleep."
"You too, good night." Sirzechs stated with a fond smile and closed his eyes.
