Leo could hold the spear without any problem and this was thanks to Leon who was expanding his soul power.

He tried to bring the poison into control by ending its effect for now - ownership was required.

Leon moved Leo in such a manner that he bit his thumb and put a thumbprint filled with blood on the weapon.

All of a sudden, the green aura that was being emitted by the Nagastra, got suppressed and vanished following which, Leo too was out of the illusion.

Leon stopped possessing right away as the effect of the spear ended.

Leo had tons of questions to ask, about what he had seen earlier, but right now, he couldn't ask anything as he found the Nagastra in his hands.

He blinked his eyes a couple more times only to have the scene changed again. This time, it was dark as well, however, it felt as if he was standing on the surface of the water.
