Regardless of the internal battle that was happening in his mind, Leo kept running.

Some beasts were quite fast when running, catching up to Leo's pace. Those beasts were running side to side with Leo.

Leo had his guard up all the time.

Leo felt their presence nearing him and immediately jumped up high into the air.

The two black-colored cats who were running by his right and the left side had initially wanted to jump onto Leo and attack him.

However, when Leo jumped up into the air, they ended up colliding with each other.

Leo had to force himself to jump higher with the help of mystic arts with the already existing heavy burden on his body!

Of course, even though both the black cats had unexpectedly got themselves into a blunder, the rest of the beasts continued chasing after Leo.

Leo had no idea what else to do other than keep running until he had reached the academy, where hopefully, there would be the rest to help him.
