Capítulo 118: Growing Hope

The sun was only on the verge of rising when Empress Aleida woke up from her long and deep sleep. At first, the Empress was a bit surprised because she knew it was still quite early when she went to sleep the other night.

Just how many hours did she sleep without even waking up once? Maybe the long journey really tired her out.

The Empress was about to push herself up when she suddenly noticed a familiar figure quietly standing near the window. Though it was a bit unexpected, it did not shock her that much because it wasn't the first time.

"Your Majesty."

Emperor Namus promptly turned around, looking quite surprised to see that his wife was awake. "You're awake? It's still early." He approached the bed as the Empress pushed herself up so that she could sit.
