Eloria wasn't a fool to not know that Vicus was hinting at what the Emerido imperial family was like. From what Vicus just said, it was also clear that the Emperor was deeply involved in his son's activities and life.

The Commander tried to speak up but she was interrupted by the sound of knocking on the door. Finally, she lowered the sword and responded. It was Gadis who walked inside and halted a few steps away.

"Commander, you have a visitor."

Eloria turned to the guard who promptly added, "I don't know who he is and he won't tell me even when I asked his name."

The Commander did not need much thinking to guess that there was only one person who would do such a thing. She narrowed her eyes at Vicus and she could tell that the latter felt the same as her. Still, Eloria walked toward the window to be sure.

Her guess was right. It was Crown Prince Hemeri who was standing before the gate.
