Capítulo 19: Sudden sweetness

As days passed, Juliette got extremely worried about their company. She didn't have a phone, and she had no access to whatsoever communication with their company. She didn't even know how the company was doing.

In a few days, the company will hold a charity gala, and as the figurehead of the company now that her dad was no longer around, she had to be there.

'How am I gonna convince the jerk to let me attend? What if he kills me if I annoy him?' Juliette was unsure if talking to Luca was the best option.

She could still perfectly remember the murder that happened right before her eyes two days ago. And the fact that she's living with the murderer got her tiptoeing inside the house.

Juliette avoided Luca because her soul was not prepared to meet his cold and ruthless eyes. Luca's immorality had been bugging Juliette.

"But still, I need a phone!" Juliette muttered out loud with determination.
