Harold after hearing this said "please we are brothers don't do this?" Olaf with anger said " I trusted you, I treated you with kindness, but all you saw was it as nothing, you wanted horik to kill me, so you could claim everything from me, my city my family, my wife but that will not happen cause I am going cut you away." He pick his ax and said "I'll give you death, so stop disjoining yourself."
They walked to the execution grounds and Olaf told the people of Harold's betrayal and that he will be executed tomorrow and Harold was taken to the cells.
While in the cell Sigurd visited him and Harold said "my nephew talk to your father get him to show mercy," Sigurd said "your a Viking, die like one stop being cowardly and don't forget that horik would have killed me and my family to get power but you didn't care all you want is power and father didn't do anything about you cause he cared for you but you still have to push him and now you will live with the consequences."
After conversation later Astrid walked in and Harold smiled and said "well looks like you came an surprised he didn't send you here with me after all you also were unfaithful to him," this angered Astrid and she said " if your going to insult me I'll leave," Harold quickly apologized and said " you love me free me we can be together I'll kill him take the throne rule together," Astrid stayed there not talking for a while but what the both of them didn't know was Olaf was near listening to them talking, Astrid said " I fell for your tricks in the past,I realized this, you didn't care about me you just wanted me because your brother was married your hatred of him was surprising and you used me to do it." Harold smiled and said "don't make it like you refused me, your as guilty as me and the best part was that I my son will live," Astrid said "he not yours, you know that why say it?' To which Harold said "well I want him to questions every day whether it's his children or not, whether you truly love him or you only follow him because he has the power, and I know that the true reason but free me and I'll kill him and you be free of him." Olaf who listen was saddened by the hatred his brother had for his and saw that floki was nearby and put a hand to comfort him.
As they walked on the hill Olaf said "floki my friend is there a way forward for me, all that I do feels meaning less now, I feel betrayed and heartbroken to think I was blind to everything happening," floki said "your a good man Olaf it's not your fault," Olaf said "I need you to handle the execution am leaving for a while to figure things out."
The next day Astrid noticed that Olaf was nowhere to be seen and asked for him and it seemed that no one has seen him that was until floki came and said that he was to handle the execution and that Olaf took off to Uppsala to think things through, after hearing this Astrid was saddened that there was doubts coming from him.
Harold was placed on the block and saw it was floki and asked where his brother was floki said even though you betrayed him many times your his brother and didn't want to see your end and Harold closed his eyes and accepted his fate and the ax was swung chopping his head off and that ended the life of Harold.
Weeks had past since Harold execution and Olaf was in Uppsala trying to see what the future had for him as he was doubting himself and he knew that was dangerous for him.
He was there when a man came and said he had visitors which Olaf was wonder about as he never had one his entire time he was and and what came in was his family and he asked them why they came and Sigurd said they all missed him, Olaf said he wanted it be alone to think on things that affect his and gyda said that they know he has felt alone and that they wanted to be with and that they where family.
Astrid spoke and said "Harold is not the father to any of them they are your children he wants to destroy your heart."
Olaf said "he could do it, but you did, after all I gave you my heart but I guess I was a fool to do so," and Sigurd said "is there no way to forget this ," Olaf looked at his son and said "your young so you have never been in love that you fought to give her a quiet life and after give her everything and then find out she didn't feel the same after that you can come and tell me that," Astrid told the kids to leave and said "I thought we were okay," Olaf said " I thought so too but I doubt not you but myself I know longer believe in my destiny only that I was a fool who knows nothing." Astrid said "well you can continue to doubt yourself and let Harold win or you can come with me be with your family and go on your destiny," Olaf sat there and looked at her and stood up and said "your right,no more doubts only destiny," and there was cheers and Olaf looked and saw the kids listening to their conversation and they went to visit the sites and the next day returned home and stayed there through the winter.
