The sound of gunfire stopped.

Juan Morris glanced at Rae Bennett's chest target ring. The hit rate wasn't high, indicating that she was troubled.

"Why did you stop shooting?"

Rae took off her protective goggles, "It's not interesting."

She threw down the gun and left the shooting range. The club was open-air and covered a large area, her black boots crushing the fallen leaves beneath, making rustling sounds.

Further ahead was the hunting ground, separated by iron fencing. Someone stood by the fence smoking, right beneath the no-smoking sign.

Rae suddenly craved a cigarette and asked as she passed by, "Could I borrow one?"

It was Clement Atkins.

She had seen him once before.

Clement Atkins wore the club's protective gear, resembling a bulletproof vest, and had black gloves on his hands. He looked at her for a few seconds, then handed her a cigarette and a lighter.

"Thank you," she said.

Rae took the cigarette, lit one, and then returned the lighter and pack to him.
