"Just wait until you see the garden. There are flowers everywhere. You're gonna love it," Mara said while she waited for her friends to regain their balance after their trip between the worlds.
Erebus had brought them as far as Rowan's bridge, which from what Mara could tell from the way the reflection of the garden twisted away from them as soon as they approached, was as far as Erebus could go.
It made sense. Rowan probably didn't want Ozul or Erebus showing up without an invitation. He and Wren seemed really fond of their alone time.
Luckily, she didn't need an invitation, so she could take everyone across the bridge as soon as they could walk without falling down.
Mara watched as Aiden clutched the railing like it was the only thing keeping him from fainting. His face had turned a really interesting shade of green, kinda like the pea soup Rowan had forced her to eat one time when she was there for lunch.
Erebus: I will shred that human boy if he hurts my pup's feelings. The other human girl, I like.
