Ryo was currently in class, sitting with another bunch of students, learning more about it excited ryo in his first few days in soul society had planned on learning how to change the nature of his rietsu so we could create more techniques At first he wasn't sure how to but with the teaching that was currently going on Ryo felt he'd finally Master it soon enough
' I at first believed rietsu to be the same as spiritual pressure, but it seems I'm completely wrong.'
The difference between spiritual energy and spiritual pressure is simple: Reiryoku is the amount of energy a being has stored within their body or soul, whereas Reiatsu is the pressure that a person's Reiryoku exerts. In other words, Reiryoku is potential while Reiatsu is energy in use and can be sensed by other spiritually aware beings. In general, those with high levels of Reiryoku will often have the highest levels of Reiatsu as well. A skilled warrior can overcome a person possessing greater Reiryoku by possessing greater Reiatsu - they achieve this by having greater control over their spiritual energy.
'This was probably why I was able to get rid of the sensei's spiritual pressure by using my technique. It required impressive control to use. His pressure was stronger than mine. I don't even know how to use mine yet. So controlling rietsu was able to get rid of the effects of his pressure.'
'your spiritual pressure can take different shapes. I used to think Ichigo's energy being the shape of his Hollow mask was just an effect in the anime, but it seems it's real.'
'Elemental types of rietsu exist, but I think you have to be born with it. But I feel like I can somehow change my rietsu type to something else. I just have this feeling inside of me. I should try learning more about this in my free time.'
Yes, you can change your rietsu into unique elements, but that only works when you're using spells or special techniques. I want to permanently make my rietsu a certain element.
Class ended soon after., hitaju as always was already outside of the classroom door. He didn't have to Guide me since I already knew where all my classes and room were.
"Hey Ryo, let's go to the cafeteria. The food there is so good"
I didn't notice earlier, but that fight with Sensei and all the classes made me hungry
In response, I just followed him.' I've been becoming quieter lately. Is it because of hanging out with ZA so much?'

We stopped in front of a room. What I noticed the moment I entered the room was the fact that it smelled so good. I smelled the sweet and spicy food that was there. Hitaju took me inside. It was filled with tables and chairs and students eating and talking.
We sat at an empty table. A lady came and served us a platter of food it was it was miso soup with ham ramen on the side and a platter of meat. It could put a smile on Luffy's face.
I immediately slapped a hand that I noticed coming to take some of my food it was katamuku and he had a shocked expression on his face
"W-what? how'd you even notice me!"
Hitaju jumped in shock when he realized someone was sitting next to us
" HOW'D YOU APPEAR HERE?? Wait WHERE THE HECK IS MY FOOD!!"
We ignored hitaju's complainants.
" it's a secret katamuku"
"you know, ryo I think I hate you now"
"not my fault that I have so many secrets dude, anyway let's change the subject, so how were your classes?"
" I think I might drop out. Everything they were saying made barely any sense to me. It was so boring I slept during all my classes. You know one of my instructors hit me just because I took a little na-"
"HEY. STOP IGNORING ME WHERE'S MY FOOD, YOU CRIMINALS!!" Hitaju butted in
me, and katamuku both paused and looked at him
"oh my bad four eyes, I was taste testing it for you to make sure they did not poison it but it was so bad that I had to eat it all for you I wouldn't want my friend's friend eating crappy food so honestly I did you a favor you can thank me later"
"YOU BASTARD!!" Hitaju got up and started chasing him. They both left, causing a ruckus
"Finally, some peace and quiet, time to eat. ,"
The food was seriously delicious. I couldn't blame him for trying to steal food. I'll probably start doing the same. I finished the family-sized portion in a few minutes.
"Now it's time to train. I've already mastered my technique. I think I'll name it void. All I have to do is head down to the training grounds to see if I can change my rietsu. I won't be able to do it in my room or else I might damage it."
I headed to the student's training grounds. A few students were practicing on test dummies their sword skills and some kido spells.
I activated the void while retreating to an empty area. I sat down, but I didn't know where to start.
"Should I meditate? Or try to meet za. I can't enter at will since I need a zanpaktou for that. I'll firstly meditate and try to gain enlightenment."
I closed my eyes, clearing my thoughts, searching deep inside my subconscious. My subconscious was filled with lights as bright as when I awakened my ability to use rietsu, deeper, but I slowly hit a stop. It was as if a door was blocking my path. I began attacking it, trying to force it to break. I could see the lights around me getting brighter. My head was pounding, but I continued attacking.
CRACK!! I felt a small crack forming on this huge Unstoppable door. I heard lightning crackling. I could no longer take the pain. I quickly left my subconscious.
I opened my eyes. I could see better than before. The change in my rietsu was noticeable. It felt more fierce.
"let's see what happens when I use it now"
I released a small amount of rietsu out of my finger. It was now a darker tone of blue, flickering slightly.
I wasn't too sure, but it felt like electricity. "I'll have to do a few more tests to be sure, but if my rietsu is now based on electricity, doesn't that mean my shikai is also something lightning-related too?"
I wasn't sure, but one thing I knew was that I'd be closer to my goal if I figured out this power..... TO BE CONTINUED
