Amber at age 8,
She with a ball in her hand looking for her mom to play with her
she saw her mom standing far in the garden
"How many times have I told you not to call me out when I am inside the wall premises?" her mom said angrily to a person standing in front of her, which Amber couldn't see because his back was turned to her.
She stopped and stood aside
"I just wanted to see our daughter"
"She is my daughter! My daughter alone!" she sounded so angry that Amber stood there with fear
"And don't ever come back here, we are over," she said and saw Amber at the back
she got surprised
"Get out," she said and left him there, reaching Amber
"Amber, what are you doing here?" she asked softly, touching her face
Amber looked at the man who is still facing the opposite side
Amber's mom cupped her face, forcing her to look at her
"What you heard today is a secret, okay? Secret between us and you should never tell a soul" She said with a smile on her face, but her eyes were not smiling at all
Amber's mom is a commoner.
With exceptional beauty and skills. Everyone in the town used to love her, that's when she fell in love with a man called Raga
But that's when the duke got mesmerized by her beauty, falling in love with her at first sight.
Cause Amber's family is poor, her father hid the fact that she had a lover and forced her to marry the duke

she first envied him, later it turned into hate

"Look, Amber, your father is not a bad person. He will definitely love you. Please don't hate him" Her mom said this again and again from childhood whenever Amber got hit
"Aren't you the reason why my life is miserable? Why didn't you kill me the moment I was born? At least that wouldn't have hurt more than this"
The duke decided to send Chris to magic school and Amber got neglected, but her mom fought with her life to send Amber to school
It was all the same even in school until Zia came along
Her life got bright
She has friends
she has someone that cares for her

Amber felt a different emotion for the first time in her life
But she couldn't do anything but reject him because her father would not like that
She always wanted her father to look at her with love at least once.

'I wish I won't wake up' that's the last thing she thought before she fainted

"Have you ever thought how much Amber might be hurting by your behavior?" Aidan asked angrily
"She is in a place she doesn't even know how to smile nor express1 have you ever actually looked at her properly? Or you were just immersed in your own problems"
"Aidan it's enough to stop" Nora and Noah interrupted
"We are so sorry for our misbehavior, but we are Amber's friends and I think it's best for her to stay with us than at your house mam," Nora said politely
Zia can't help but watch it from far
she is new to all these emotions
She won't say her life is good or too bad
She doesn't know how to defend nor understand completely to speak for Amber's side
Amber's mom with no other word, looked at her daughter one more time
"I am not so sure of leaving her, but please make her happy," she said and left
