Eleonore’s POV
“This is the place,” Michael said as he parked his car.
I got out as I followed him out of the car to stand in front of the apartment complex. The building was face-bricked and covered in thick layers of green ivy, even the trees and small patches of grass that littered the area around it seemed to be an unimaginable shade of green at this time of the year.
‘It’s so… lush.’ The automatic voice sounded out, breaking the once peaceful silence between Michael and I as we stared at the building in front of us. I saw from the corner of my eyes the way he seemed to be jarred by the sound, his shoulder releasing slightly from where they had jumped to, and he grabbed the phone out from my hands with a sneer.
