Eleonore’s POV
I woke up from an empty dream.
It wasn’t that it was such an unusual thing, however these past few months hadn’t necessarily warranted calm dreams, much less empty ones, and I was shocked when I woke up the next morning with yet another uninterrupted sleep.
It would be the seventh night in a row now that there had been no hint of shadow or darkness. There was not much light either, but it was better than those nightmares.
It was a jarring sort of thing, to wake up well rested and refreshed. Waking up these days felt like waking up from an afternoon nap on the first warm day in months, after the cold had passed, and you knew summer was approaching.
I sighed in relief as I stretched and looked to my bedside table. The bedside clock that had been placed there told me that it was well before ten in the morning, which meant I had ample time to get ready before my outing with Amanda and Logan today.
