Rhett’s POV

Hayden and I made our way to Claudius’ office once we returned to the compound. We had entrusted Eleonore to a group of our closer female members who had taken her to one of the guest rooms to get cleaned up and changed.

Logan and Mason immediately went to the archives instead of joining us to figure out what exactly had attacked Eleonore.

We didn’t have to wait long before Claudius came into his office, and we all immediately began discussing the events that had transpired not even an hour ago. Hayden was the first to speak.

“Her visions…”I looked at Hayden as he spoke up. “What she is experiencing, could it in any way be linked to us?”

I looked at my brother in confusion for a moment, wondering why he would ask a question like that out of the blue. We hadn’t done anything to Eleonore to cause this, so why—

“The mating bond, you mean.” Claudius cleared up the confusion for me. “You wonder if her mind suffers due to having two mates.”
