Capítulo 141: Conversation with Mr. Gu

Mr. Gu walked over from the corridor. Initially, Gu Chu pretended not to see him, but he called out, "Gu Chu."

Gu Chu stopped. When she saw that he was getting closer, she called out softly, "Dad."

"I went to the Commerce Department a few times this morning, but I didn't see you. I thought you weren't coming to work today." Mr. Gu looked at her, "Are you still angry with your mother? I apologize on behalf of your mother. She shouldn't have hit you."

He's apologizing again.

Gu Chu became a little gloomy. "You apologize for Gu Wan before this, and now for mom. Aren't you tired of it? I do."

There were a lot of people walking in the corridor. Gu Chu walked to an empty corner. "If you want me to forgive them, then say no more. After all, you know that I am not the kind to be bullied."

Mr. Gu sighed. "But we're still a family. We have to tolerate each other."
