For the last three years, after his return from the Island X, Kai had been eagerly waiting to come to the Verse Fusion Random World.
Every single thing, action, and plan he had carried out since then was to come to this point.
From turning his Pirate Ship Actaea into an Item, completing the pending Status of many of his Unequippable Titles, and letting his Dementors feed on soul-rich beings, turning a part of them to Soul Points to slowly carrying out Sounga's tasks and gaining Demonic Points.
All this was to come to this world and complete the Side Mission to gain the Demon Slayer Title.
If Kai wanted, he could have assigned himself a much easier Side Mission. Just like when he had assigned a Side Mission to slap Rintaro to jump to the Switched World.
But then the rewards of the Side Mission would have also slapped right back, perhaps not even giving him a single Attribute Point, as this was no normal Random World.
Now, though, with such a risk involved, and seeing the gravity of a Standalone Title, the Side Missions Rewards were equally worthy.
What Kai had always been aiming for… was the 1st Threshold; his 1st Threshold.
It was because of the 1st Threshold that Kai had put upgrading Sounga on hold. It was because of his not reaching the 1st Threshold that he couldn't upgrade Murasame before, and instead chose to wait for three years.
It was because of his lack of Attribute Points that Kai couldn't release the full potential of his Reality Marble.
Because all Rare-grade Items shared one distinct Requirement - 1st Threshold.
Because Kai needed 30 points in Intelligence and Breath to release his… Shikai.
Things had changed now, though.
The Side Mission had granted Kai a total of 12 Attribute Points.
12 Points… had turned Kai from a hideous monster to an utterly incomprehensible being.
As the mountain-like Upper-Rank Six Demon lifted thousands of bloody obi sash, locking the space, Kai smiled and brought out his Stats after a very very long time.

Daki's three demonic eyes reflected the white-haired man who had thwarted her attack and she felt nothing but pure rage.
If… If she hadn't been under the effect of Resurreccion - Segunda Etapa, and her boiling rage and bloodlust, then she could have barely felt the demonic heart of the tiny being she cared nothing for.
However, the time of all ifs and buts had already ceased to exist.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Daki screamed and space literally split apart.
Every single bloody obi sash, which was already faster than the speed of sound, cracked open a slit in the space and vanished inside them.
Thin, black vertical splits opened up in the sky, the sheer scale of this phenomenon surpassing the size of the Entertainment District.
Bloody Obi Sashes kept coming out of the Space Slits and vanishing inside them, their speed and movement beyond any Perception to notice.
Kai... loosened his shoulders.
He jumped on his toes, cracked his knuckles, and chuckled. "I will deal with her by myself."
As if these words were a command, Item-M's surprised appearance shattered, her eyes gaining an even bloodier, demonic look.
Bam!
Item-M slammed her palms together, Magic and Chakra boiling inside her.
There was a reason she hadn't been using her Origami Skills during the fight. It was because Kai had directed her to use all the Origamis to work on a failsafe scenario upon being directed by the Ad Infinitum.
Thousands of papers shot out of the ground, covered in magical, runic letterings. It was as if the clouds and the earth had changed position, raining white raindrops.
The papers shifted in the sky with a mind of their own, positioning themselves like a hemispherical dome of stars.
This time, Kai barely snapped his fingers, losing 1 MP.
And thousands of paper lit up with pure Magic, cutting everything they surrounded from the gaze of the Timeline.
Lesser Bounded Field!
As if sensing the oddness around her, the flesh buried deep within Daki's chest squirmed even more hideously. "Nowwww…" a demonic growl came out of the flesh, making the Upper Rank Six let out another scream.
Hundreds upon hundreds of Space Slits opened up around Kai.
Escape was impossible.
"It's been a long time…" Kai said, closing his eyes, feeling her.
-Kekekekeke…- Ayin cackled, her presence boiling, sucking Kai's Mana. -Shall we?-
Kai opened his eyes, his hazel eyes grinning with the pure thrill of the battle. "I am the blood in my bones…
- LIMITLESS BLOOD FIRMAMENT!!! -
Time paused.
With Kai as the center, everything within the Bounded Field vanished.
A thin sheet of blood ocean appeared where once stood the destroyed Entertainment District. The night got replaced by a dull, gray sky.
The Space Slits got cut off too, for they didn't belong to this world… this Reality.
The thousands of bloodied obi sashes, which were still going in and out of the Space Slits, got cut from edges, with many vanishing entirely.
Daki's brows pressed together as pain shot through her, her three eyes still looking around, trying to make sense of it all.
"Come out…"
Words rang, making the mountain-tall blob of obi sashes, which Daki had become, look at the source.
In the middle of this world, in the sky, there was a gaping black hole, letting out a bloodfall.
And, right under the hole, there was a pillar.
Kai was standing alone on that pillar, chewing several MP pills to regain his Mana. When Daki looked at him, he smiled and continued, "… Koffing."
Koffing!
The sheet of blood rippled as a man-sized Koffing shot out and hovered to Kai's right, letting out puffs of gases.
"… Golduck…"
Golduck!
A 12 ft giant Golduck swam out of the blood ocean and hung itself to the pillar's side, eying the mountain of obi sashes with its red eyes. The red gem on its head pulsated with an unmatched, matured fury.
"… Dementor!"
The world became cold, then.
A 30 ft tall Dementor crawled out of the blood ocean, the ends of its tattered black clothes rippling without wind.
Daki's soul shuddered.
There was a reason Kai had wanted to capture her alive.
He couldn't have done it with Akaza, because of the Kings watching him. He couldn't have done with Hashiras, because of their Sword Spirits and because he wanted to nurture them.
But the Demons… now they were nothing but the richest source of Soul Points for him.
Kai licked his lips.
However, just as it seemed the showdown was about to begin, Kai said not one, but four more words in succession.
And the entire Reality Marble rang up with screams of four new modified Pokemon.
Magneton!
A 15 ft tall Magneton let out sparks, the space rippling around it under the might of its magnetic power.
Gengar!
A hideous grin opened up in the sheet of the blood ocean, the Pokemon refusing to come out and instead hiding itself to play games.
Dragonair! Roar!!!
A 40 ft tall Dragonair shot out like a missile and roared at Daki, holy aura pulsating around it like a divine cloak.
The last Pokemon arrived then.
It meekly crawled out and stuck itself to Golduck's tail, its size barely 4 ft, no more than its original height.
Kai looked down at it and chuckled. "Come up… Wobbuffet…"
Wobbuffet!
The Pokemon cried cheerfully, its entire body letting out a multi-colored mirror-like glow.
In the blood ocean, Ayin appeared as Kai's mirror image. She still looked the same. A thin, black body, with long claws. Her knee-length yellow hair flailed without wind. -Kekeke! Say it!!-
"Devour…" Kai said, taking a deep breath as the Rare-graded Items, Murasame and Sounga, appeared in his hands. "… Ayin!!!"
The show… had just begun.
