Chapter 20: Interlopers Involvement
Next morning, Griselda Quarta and Michael arrived at Ray's restaurant building. Ray is still sleeping on the top floor where his house is located. They feel weird that someone would buy out a whole block just to build his faction base below, a few buildings as cover and a house on top of a restaurant.
When they enter the private room that Kurumi lead them to, they saw Xenovia and Irina gorging down food like a person starved for weeks.
"Ahem" Griselda coughed.
"Huk huk… *gulp* Sister Griselda!" Xenovia and Irina tried to swallow the stucked food when they were surprised by Griselda and Michael's arrival.
"Haah, where are your manners? Lord Michael is here with us today." Griselda said with disappointment in her voice.
"I don't mind it, Sister Griselda. They must be very hungry to eat like this." Michael said with the usual kind smile on his face.
"Didn't I provide you both with an allowance before the mission?" Griselda said, which caused Xenovia to point at Irina.
"She spent it all on useless sculpture and random junk." Xenovia instantly said which caused Irina to look at her in betrayal before explaining the value of those junk as priceless artifacts.
"Anyway, Lord Michael and I had come for a later discussion between three faction leaders and Lord Ray about this organisation that he discovered."
"I also came as backup to assist your mission because Lord Michael had confirmed that the threat is higher than what you two could handle." Griselda said as her tone showed her worries.
"Are our enemies that strong?" Xenovia asks, unconvinced about the threat.
"They are strong indeed, if my estimation is correct. Our enemies could have a lot of high and ultimate class within their ranks." Michael said gravely.

An hour later, in the central area of the underground city meeting room, Azazel, Michael, Serafall and Ray seated in a round table facing each other.
"Well then Ray, Michael told us something very urgent and potentially disastrous about the organisation led by Ophis yesterday." Azazel started with the focus of today's meeting.
"Is that true Ray!" Serafall asked and Ray replied with a simple nod.
"You are wrong about Ophis being the leader. Ophis is just a puppet leader controlled by others within the organisation."
"What! Isn't Ophis the Dragon God… Who would be able to control her like a puppet?" Azazel exclaimed in shock that a Dragon God, the nigh invincible and uncontested being which hailed to be the second strongest being in the world was controlled.
"I understand your shock. As strong as she is, her childlike mind is easily exploited by others where she gives a portion of her power to anyone that said they will help her defeat Great Red even if in reality, they are simply lying and using her for their convenience." Everyone was thinking in silence.
"If it is as you said, then I can imagine it happening. However, how did you know this? I have been keeping tabs on your movements for a while and I almost never see you go outside of your faction base and the vampire territory." Azazel said while admitting that he has been stalking Ray.
"Well, it looks like someone finally admitting he is stalking. Are you finding a chance to break into my lab and steal Sacred Gear I made?"
Michael, who was listening to the talk between Azazel and Ray, becomes stunned. "You manage to produce Artificial Sacred Gear!" Michael's mind is feeling complicated as someone manages to produce Sacred Gear.
"Gentlemen, please focus on the main topic." Serafall urges as the topic is derailing.
Ray then ponders for a bit while everyone is looking at him with unwavering focus. "I cannot tell you my method since it would be revealing my trump card to potential enemies." Ray said while looking at Michael and Serafall.
"Then you wouldn't mind telling me?" Azazel asked.
"Revealing it to you would be even more troublesome since you will definitely pester me about it." Ray said while looking at Azazel like an annoyance to him.
"May I know the reason?" Michael asks, curious about his reasoning to keep it a secret.
"Well, the main reason is I'm basically painting a target on myself with a big 'please kill me' if my method is known to others, especially the secret organisation under Ophis."
"Can't we just sign a magic contract to keep it a secret between our factions only?" Serafall suggested.
"Then the next reason is your faction might try to kill me." Ray said while looking clearly at Serafall.
"Is it that bad?" Azazel asked curiously.
"Yes, the devil might even try to eliminate me on the spot. But I am willing to disclose it if your factions can form an alliance with mine to fight against common enemies and to not attack each other." Ray then proposed the alliance that he had been planning for quite some time.
"That sounds reasonable." Michael is very happy and satisfied with Ray's proposal for alliance between the three factions and his own faction.
"Hey! I plan for it first, how dare you steal my thunder. I have been planning for an alliance between the three factions for a very long times" Azazel cried out for this injustice.
"Well sucks for you, first come first serve." Azazel and Ray then duking out on each other while Michael and Serafall can only sighed at the sight of them.
After finishing their verbal fight, Ray and Azazel return to the meeting to continue.
"Sadly, this is how much I can explain to you but one thing for sure. They are after something in Kuoh town and they seem to be targeting me too. They seem to be interested in claiming the Longinus, Sephiroth Graal from me."
"How is it requiring them to steal the Excalibur fragments? As far as I know, none of the Excaliburs could have any devastating effects on your people." Michael pointed out.
"What if that isn't their real target?" Azazel suddenly said.
"What do you mean?" Serafall asks with a confused expression.
"Beside me, who else occupied Kuoh town?" Ray gives Serafall some hints.
"So-tan and Sirzechs sister Rias…" Serafall finally connected the dots.
"Yes, and the Excalibur are?"
"It can't be! Ray, are you telling me they are targeting mine and Sirzechs's sisters?" Serafall jumped from her seat and slammed the table while emitting frost that started to freeze anything she touched.
"Perhaps" Ray replied with a vague answer.
"What could their purpose be…" Azazel said while looking at Ray who he suspected already knew about it but kept it hidden for whatever reason.
Serafall also saw Azazel's hint toward Ray. "Ray, could it be that you already know about this… was it your method? Or perhaps your ability?" Serafall looked at Ray with a shocked expression on her face.
Ray only keeps a calm smile and looks at everyone while remaining silent. He is happy that it's been going in the direction he planned but he must make the alliance happen first.
"Since when… since when did you know this would happen? No, I should be asking since when had you been preparing for this." Azazel asked, which surprised Michael and Serafall when the smile on Ray's face became wider.
"As expected of you Azazel, you finally noticed the nature of my ability." Ray claps his hand to congratulate Azazel.
"It's all piecing together… your actions, Artificial Sacred Gear creations, as if you expected a large scale fight to happen in the first place."
"When you created the Artificial Sacred Gear, most of their features are easy to mass produce and easy to be used. Pioneering the creation of healing items like potions of your. Everything… as if you already knew this would happen." Azazel described what caused Michael and Serafall to be stunned.
"Is that true Ray?" Michael and Serafall ask in disbelief which Ray simply continues to smile while keeping them hanging.
"Then will you agree with the alliance between us against our common enemies?" Ray ask again but this time, none of them hesitate anymore.
"The Heaven agrees to join the alliance."
"Grigori also agrees to join the alliance."
"Underworld also will join the alliance."
"Now, you better start spilling the beans. Everyone already agreed to join your alliance." Azazel urges impatiently.
"Well I have this ability which allows me to access basically any information whether in the past, present or future. It functions like a search engine, I put a keyword and it showed me what I wanted. For example, I know about the death of the Biblical God during the end of the Great War between the three factions." Ray dropped bombshells in rapid succession that shocked all three of them.
However, Ray actually tells the real capability of his Cosmic Guidance. He only reveals some of its functions and keeps the rest secret from them. If he tells them he can access what is equivalent to an Akashic Record, since that means whatever knowledge and events since the start to end of the universe is accessible to Ray.
"Now, my plan is simple. They already spread their influence on every faction except mine. You three will spread the information about the peace conference in 3 days at Kuoh Academy to your own people. Those traitors hiding amongst us will surely hear about this and mount an attack on the peace conference to thwart it." Ray explains his plan to bait the Khaos Brigade.
"How about the reason for the peace conference? Surely we need a strong enough reason to make the people and the traitors convinced." Azazel said. "First and foremost, we must make the people support the alliance to make it happen in the first place."
"What Azazel said is true, the devil is hard to convince to join this alliance unless it is beneficial to them." Serafall said.
Everyone then looks at Michael. "The angels will follow my decision." Michael said, assured that there's no problems at his side.
"My solution is this." Ray took out several items and put them on the table for everyone to see.
"This is Healing Potion, Fertility Potion and Cure Potion which were created using my blood as main material but requires very little of it. Only a vial is needed to manufacture 20-25 barrels of each potion except Fertility Potion. The Cure Potion is usable to neutralise most negative effects." Ray points at the three potions.
Next is mass produced Artificial Sacred Gears with 4 types which are sword, firearm, spear and axe type. The Sacred Gear is able to approximately triple or quadruple the attack of anyone until high class. There is a limit however, only 3000 per year since our current production is focusing on my own faction first." Ray showcase each type of the Sacred Gear
"The last one is specifically for the angels, this is a product that allow angle to reproduce without the need of sexual intercourse. It only requires the stem cells from bone marrow to be added and it also takes care of the babies until it's ready to be born. I created this on a whim when I stumbled upon stem cell reproduction research." Ray then shows how this device will artificially allow the fetal development.
"This! Is that device truly working?" Michael is the first to voice out after the showcase.
"I tested them on magical species like youkai but I have yet to test them on angels but I'm 100 percent sure it would work as intended." Ray assured Michael.
"Is this enough to convince your people?" Ray said confidently while looking at everyone.
"The devil indeed will definitely be willing for the potions. If the Cure Potion is able to cure the sleeping disease, many devils will be willing to support the alliance." Serafall said.
"Indeed, the artificial reproduction device of yours will definitely make a lot of fallen angels to support the alliance. Due to the imbalance of gender distribution, many female fallen angels are without a partner."
"Well, let's finish our meeting here. We have a lot to prepare and make sure to only bring people your trusted during the peace conference, especially you Azazel. You simply haven't realized how many of your trusted ones have defected." Ray said.
"I will look into it." Azazel said without a change of expression.
Then the meeting concluded and everyone returned to each other's factions to prepare for the peace conference. Ray is also preparing but for a different reason than the Khaos Brigade attack. Little did he know, the administrator pulled some strings behind the scenes.

Each faction is being convinced by their leaders and the majority show support for the alliance. Khaos Brigade also gets a hang of the news, now organising an attack on the peace conference at Kuoh Academy.
However, a day after the meeting between Ray and the three faction leaders, a certain someone met with Rizevim and forged a cooperation to defeat Ray. The mysterious party's goal is to get revenge from Ray while Rizevim will gain the Sephiroth Graal to further his goal of bringing chaos.
The Kuoh Academy which was selected for the location of the peace conference, caused Sona and Rias a headache to prepare the venue. The devil faction helped barricade the location from the outside to not involve the people. Ray also insisted on evacuating the whole area surrounding the academy.
Ray also supplied the few extra batches of the item he traded to the three factions, the item includes Healing Potion and the Artificial Sacred Gear. This is to arm themselves for the upcoming conflict. This faces complications however since this could raise suspicion to the Khaos Brigade informant. Thus, they were only armed with the sacred gears just moments before the conference.
For Ray's preparation, he only brings 3000 hunters as escorts unlike other factions that bring up to 5000 escorting soldiers. However he already issued his order to arm every willing able-bodied citizen of Yharnam. This amounted to a staggering number of hunters around 50 thousands although 60 percent of them are only low class but with the majority of them armed with the sacred gear weapons, 4 low class hunters able to fight and kill a mid class opponent.
"Let's depart." Ray commanded his hunters. He left behind a few strong one like Laurence, other vicars, Djura and Valtr along with 6 thousand hunters that were already tasked to defend the underground city. His house was also protected by Ellen and his maids in case the Chaos Brigade attacked there but Ray commanded everyone to retreat to Yharnam if enemies overwhelmed them.
Those that cannot be unsummon is Shifting with him to Kuoh Academy while those who could like Artemis, Tsukuyomi, Ikaros, Kurumi, Nia, Ddraig and Scáthach will wait until time for summoning. Only Shinano and Artoria X are following him physically.
Also not to forget, Ravel returned to the Phenex clan for the vacation while being escorted by Ludwig which Ray had forgotten about again.
When they arrived at the open area of Kuoh Academy, Ray saw that everyone had arrived except him, who was the last to arrive. He saw several familiar faces that he just met for the first time such as Gabriel, Uriel, Baraqiel, Shemhazai, Penemue, Falbium Asmodeus and several Sirzechs peerage. All of them are leading their own soldiers while Ray has Gehrmen, Maria(real one) and Logarius leading the hunters.
"Finally the guest of honour had arrived." Azazel chided while everyone else gave a small laugh which is quite the contrary with many soldiers from each faction looking grimly at each other.
"Is that a Youkai? I had never seen her before and the tails… a nine tailed fox!" Serafall exclaimed and everyone in the surrounding look at Shinano who hid behind Ray to block peoples piercing gaze on her.
"She is a special nine tailed fox and one of my wives. She controls one of the few branches of my forces." Ray introduced Shinano to everyone before they nodded.
"Ah before I forgot… Sirzechs, please have someone bring Rias's Bishop to Underwood for better protection since the enemies will make use of his Forbidden Balor View to cause disturbance." Ray told Sirzechs who nodded and had Grayfia handle it.
Ray along with Shinano, Azazel, Vali, Michael, Gabriel, Serafall, Sirzechs, Sona and Rias entered the newly built temporary conference room that was heavily warded by defensive magic formation.
"Then let's finalize the written agreement before our other guest arrives." Ray urges everyone.
"That soon? I just sat down dammit." Azazel complained while few people like Rias and Sona were confused. Vali simply didn't have any reaction and stared at the air while waiting for something.
"Yes, I just found out they are making the mass teleportation array already." Ray replied before handing everyone the agreement paper and signed it and the leaders injected their magic into a magic tool that will signify the alliance being established.
"Done… while we are waiting, can I ask for Ray to increase the volume of the Cure Potion? We have tested them on Sleeping disease patients and found most are cured by the potion." Serafall asked before a loud boom heard and shook the room then more explosions blasted the conference room.
"It looks like they have arrived." Sirzechs said before him, Azazel and Michael worked together to set up a barrier to defend against the magic bombardment that was about to break the defensive magic ward.
Soon, the whole building is destroyed and they are exposed to the outside world. Each faction's soldiers are fighting the incoming black robed enemy that keeps pouring from the teleportation array above them.
"Well, it looks like the battle already started… *BOOM*" A large explosion interrupted Ray and cracked the magic barrier Azazel, Sirzechs and Michael put up.
The battle outside was already raging on as more teleportation arrays opened up and allowed more enemies to arrive. Gabriel, Sirzechs and Michael left to lead their people to fight against the interlopers while Vali and the returned Grayfia escorted Sona and Rias away.
Then another magic circle appeared but the clan crest in the magic circle made the devil and Vali become shocked. Rizevim along with Euclid Lucifuge and several people in robes exit the teleportation magic circle.
"Greetings people of the three factions. I am Rizevim Livan Lucifer, son of origin Lucifer and leader of Qilppoth and leader of the Khaos Brigade." Rizevim introduced himself loudly
Many of the devils, especially the high class one look at Rizevim in shock. Never did they ever expect a true descendant of Lucifer to appear here.
Ray is also shocked, shouldn't Rizevim stay hidden until later. Why did he appear here now? Shouldn't the boss that appears only be descendant of the satans of old satan factions like Katarea Leviathan and their goons.

"Shit" Ray was reading the notification which caused everyone in the ruined conference room to look away from Rizevim to him.
"I very much disapprove of this alliance although this isn't my real reason to attack." Rizevim said playfully before looking at Ray.
"You, Ray Elliot or Pale Blood King. You had caused me quite some trouble when you took away the Sephiroth Graal… I even have to keep delaying my plans." Rizevim snapped his finger before the otherworldly energy spilled from the robed people behind him.
Azazel was spooked by the malevolent energy. He is able to feel the revolting energy spilled out of the body before their body moves weirdly with very unpleasant noises like bone being crushed and flesh being torn apart.
"This is a gift from the mysterious sponsor that gifted me this powerful minion and many more after obtaining your head. When it happens, I won't need the Sephiroth Graal anymore. Hahahahaha."
As Rizevim finished talking, he teleported away with Euclid Lucifuge and left the robed figure over here. The robed figure's body grows rapidly and expands into something that he would never be able to mistake for anything.
"Amyg… dala" Ray can feel that his throat becomes dried as he utters that name. The only possible person that wants revenge from him and related to amygdala would be Flora the Moon Presence.
Ray could also feel the power radiated from the transformed Amygdalas, their power is around Silver rank which is a rank above his current rank. During the 10 years of arrival, Ray did try to level up his levels but ended up inefficient as the enemies he could kill usually are low to mid rank that gave very little xp and he ended up abandoning the thought of it unless he wanted to attract others attention by becoming a mass murderer.
"Do you know what those creatures are?" Azazel asked as everyone heard his mutter.
"They look like aliens from the humans tv shows" Serafall commented while attacking the Khaos Brigade grunts closing up on them.
"Those are lesser Great One that serve a Great One and they are enhanced way stronger than their original counterparts."
Ray is able to make out several strange features on those amygdala like the crow and bat-like wings on their back. Ray is able to recognise one of the malformed faces which he confirmed with Cosmic Guidance to be former Katarea Leviathan.
"That bastard Rizevim used his ally as body for this creatures… one of them I confirmed is Katarea Leviathan." Serafall instantly stunned before looking at the amygdala that have Katarea's deformed face on the disproportionate head and get a headache.
"Argh, how are we supposed to fight this thing when we cannot even look at it." Azazel exclaimed while looking at a few faction soldiers fell down and convulsed before blood flowed out of their orifices.
"I will fight it, you guys focus on disabling their teleportation array and the robed people. Also tell everyone to not look at the amygdala." Ray said before leaping toward the amygdalas.
Meanwhile with the others. Sirzechs and Michael saw the robed figures deformed and enlarged before it turned into a 5 meters tall spider-like monstrosity with an enlarged oval head filled with thorns and a skinny body. The creature roared loudly before its head glowed is white light but somebody came forward with a two handed sword and bashed the head that interrupted the creature and pierced one of his hand into the creature head before pulling out its flesh.
They cannot determine the person since just by looking at the creature gave them a headache. Then Azazel and Serafall arrived to them.
"Sirzechs, Michael"
"What happened Azazel? Where is Ray?"
"Don't worry about Michael, he went ahead and fight those creatures called Amygdala. He wants us to stop the teleportation array of the enemies and quickly finish up the fight then evacuate." Azazel said in a hurry before leaving to join the fallen angels along with Baraqiel, Shemhazai and Penemue.
Everyone nodded and quickly joined up their group before quickly trying to attack the teleportation array but stopped by the Khaos Brigade that poured out nonstop from the array. Their numbers had overwhelmed the alliance members by three folds.
The Khaos Brigade members also exhibit unusual behaviour and power. They all suddenly becomes powerful as if boosted somehow and turn violent as they employ suicidal tactic of rushing to their enemies before taking them with him in a self explode attack.
The three faction soldiers of course was terrified by such suicidal attack and quickly unable to handle them as they get overwhelmed. The soldiers lose morale as quickly as their enemies pour out of the teleportation array. Their numbers slowly wither down as the fight continues, they are going to lose even with superior equipment and supplies as their enemies are making use of human wave tactics on them.
Only the Pale Blood faction still remain intact as they revive almost instantly after they are killed and join the fight again. As the situation turned grimmer, Azazel and the others saw the familiar lamp sprout all around them before the pale red moon dropped lower until it was just above them.
They become relieved, hundreds upon thousands of hunters in various attire flooded the battlefield as their iconic warcry resound across the sealed space of Kuoh Academy.
"Glory to the Pale Blood King!" A few hunters shouted, then all the hunters replied "Glory to the Pale Blood King!" Before they charged toward the Khaos Brigade. Undaunted by the injury and death as the charge bravely, borderline madness.
Then around two dozen people dressed like how Laurence usually did, the Vicars. Title obtained only those who attain beasthood when possessed very high concentration of Ray's blood in their body and willingly forfeited their freedom to serve as personal servant of their god.
Their bodies trembled and released animalistic howls before turning into massive beasts with regal yet twisted horns, majestic wolf like fur and cause devastating howls as they finished transforming that sounded like enraged beasts before they charged head first into enemies formation. Their large size and devastating howl instantly send enemies formation into disarray before the hunters efficiently harvest their lives.
The overwhelming force easily tore apart even with the smaller forces of the Pale Blood faction. This causes many spectators to feel their blood run cold imagining fighting such force as an enemy. They cannot even begin to imagine how to achieve a victory.
A stronger opponent? They saw with their own eyes as a Ultimate class Khaos Brigade devil get surrounded by relentless enemies, the Vicar slap it down using a surprise attack with their size and speed advantage before the hunters eviscerating the poor terrorist that keep struggling as they pick out its organs one by one due to its strong vitality and life force.
The devil faction soldiers feel cold feet before they instinctively touch their body to make sure their organs are still intact. Even the sadistic high class devil that used to loved torturing his enemies swore to abstain from it after such gruesome scene.
With the help of the Pale Blood faction clearing the enemies, the factions' leaders like Azazel and Michael with few helpers quickly dismantle the teleportation array before cleaning up the remaining forces.
Ray is still holding on well using Tsukuyomi and Artemis to stall the Amygdalas while they quickly finish the enemies then everyone retreating far away from Ray. They can see that Ray is starting to let loose on his restraint as his aura which is usually never released since the Tepes faction war finally being reintroduced to the world once again.
(Note: Ray didn't fight directly, he allowed his weapon souls to control the weapon and attack themselves. Thus his presence concealment is never dispelled)
Immediately Azazel and co feel complicated from sensing the aura from Ray. Michael can feel the aura of Incinerate Anthem and everyone can feel the unmistakable unique draconic aura of Boosted Gear. Vali instantly perk up and look with interest at Ray.
What they saw later made them question their sanity. They saw a girl around 10-12 years old with green eyes and crimson red hair that reached below her thighs. They also saw the draconic features like her horns, leathery wings and a dragon tail.
"Is… that Ddraig…" Albion said with speechless tone but no one noticed as everyone looked at the girl then vanished immediately after she appeared and a gauntlet of Boosted Gear appeared on Ray's right hand. To dispel their doubt, the gauntlet instantly starts to boost Ray's already overbearing power to not double but quadruple each time the gear releases a feminine "Boost".
They then saw a layer of purplish black energy starts coating Ray's body as the "Boost" exceeds four times. They then feel an invisible layer of suppressive pressure wash over them before they see that the circular area around the Amygdalas sunken in a few meters as the Amygdalas are pressed to the ground.
"What is that… that absurd pressure, even when not being targeted. I feel like something is squeezing my soul to almost burst." Vali said as his grin turn wider.
"You have to be careful when dealing with that guy, I can feel something wrong about that guy… I feel like my instinct is warning me of something." Albion said to Vali mentally.

With Ray.
"Why wouldn't this thing get damaged. All I can do is immobilise it…" Ray cursed as none of his attack can even do a shallow slash.
"Boost"
"Master, let me try. My spear can definitely pierced this enemy." Scáthach proposed, definitely not to use this as excuse later to be rewarded with more Blood Stone.
"Boost"
Scáthach materialise before activated her noble phantasm, Gae Bolg Alternative that manage to pierced the things she assumed is its heart but located in the large oval head.
Her attack only manage to pierced the amygdala but didn't manage to kill it as it quickly mended the gaping hole to its head but not the initial wound where the Gae Bolg Alternative hit the head.
"Boost"
This confirm Ray's suspicion, his attack isn't effective unless its a one hit kill attack since it has strong regeneration. Scáthach attack that cannot heal is because the barbed spear curse of Gae Bolg.q
"Boost"
Ray didn't want to reveal all his trump card which is why he still reserve Ikaros and the spirits abilities. He did brought them along just in case if he can't defeat his enemy. However he didn't need to since Incinerate Anthem and Boosted Gear is definitely enough. This can be said to be their debut stage to the public.
"Boost"
"Master Ray, the boost reached 64 stack already. I cannot handle any further or the energy will gone berserk if forced." Ddraig told Ray that her current vessel had reached its limit and unless he unlock Balance Breaker, her limit is 64 times or 128 stack because of quadruples that cause each stack increase his power four times instead of two.
"Hmn, good job Ddraig. Now transfer when I tell you to." Ray then grasps something invisible before a spear made of blazing purple flame appears that causes Vali more surprises.
"Incinerate Anthem: Incinerating Impalement of Mortality! Impaling Domain!" Ray is embarrassed by the cringey name but discarded such thought while focusing on the fight.
The Amygdalas are instantly pierced by multiple spears, stake and chain spear that appear in a 50m radius to impale and restrain them. The process is instantaneous which brightens up the night with the blazing purple holy flame that causes the devil releasing cold sweat just from feeling the flame.
"Now Ddraig!"

"Death is the beginning of another life, like a soil that nourish the tree, Devour oh Tree of Death!, bloom from the flesh of my enemies!" Ray used incantation to create a clearer image of what he wanted as he directed the power from Boosted Gear to obtain the results.
As soon as he finished the incantation, the spears, stake and chain spear all burst into flame before each of them sprouted more spear and more stake from the existing one like a tree branch before creating a blazing flame to incinerate the Amygdalas but instead exploded. The explosion turns them into small bits and pieces that get incinerated which become impossible to regenerate.
This is his first time handling such a volume of power that even with full Haki coating, he still suffers backlash from overusing his body. His body at least didn't tear apart inside out, only some blood vessels ruptured and irregular heartbeat.
"Master Ray!" Ray coughed out blood as he tried to breathe because multiple major blood vessels ruptured, especially the one in his brain and the major artery to heart from the lungs. His lungs desperately try to expel the blood that stuck there which caused him to cough out blood.
This isn't a problem since he didn't require this mortal body to be operable since he can manually control it using Kinesis but his moment of dizziness and natural body response cause him to look like he suffered grave injury.
"Master Ray!" Ddraig tried to hold him up as Tsukuyomi and Artemis appeared to help him. The others also came to Ray to check up on him, especially Shinano who was running to him. Artoria X can instinctively know as his kin that he isn't in life threatening situation then proceed to laze around playing her PSP until she is needed again.

Few moment before he killed the Amygdalas.
"That's Incinerate Anthem! He is the host all this time… and Boosted Gear too!" Few exclaimed especially the devils.
"This feeling… its a Balance Breaker mode. He manages to achieve a subspecies!" Azazel exclaimed as everyone become bewildered.
(Note: Everyone mean the important ppl only not other nameless characters.)
"Indeed, he manage to hide it under our eyes all this time with his strange concealment ability." Sirzechs said with grim tone.
Due to Ray's rarely interact with others, they cannot grasp his goal and personality. This is dangerous if he suddenly turn against the devil, although the alliance gave them some assurance but not much. The alliance shows that Ray at least is peaceful person and his track record of only choosing violence when retaliate against an attack.
When Ray finishes chanting, they saw the devastating attack of the Incinerate Anthem boosted by Boosted Gear.
"That attack, I'm not confident at all to defend against it. It probably can kill me with a single strike." Sirzechs heard Azazel appraising the attack with excited tone even when he is talking about himself getting killed.
"The attack is rather unique, it will first impale then restrain before it produces flame but due to Boosted Gear, it exploded instead and incinerating the enemies to ensure it was killed… perfect for this Amygdalas that have super regeneration." Azazel appraised.
"The Boost Gear also seems to be different don't you think, Azazel?" Michael asked.
"What is different?" Sirzechs and Serafall asked since they focused on Incinerate Anthem, they didn't notice the difference in Boosted Gear effect.
"Yes, I do feel it Michael. The Boosted Gear clearly increase Ray's power more than double… as if it quadruples on each boost."
"What!" Everyone exclaimed in shock.
"Quadruples…" Sirzechs mumbles while his brows furrowed deeper.
"Anyway, let go and check him. He seems to be injured." Azazel said before flying toward Ray and followed by others.
