Lia walked into her bedroom and kicked off the heels she was wearing. Her feet were throbbing. She had gone to eight of Nash Global’s clients, and everything seemed to have gone well.

She sat on the bed and rubbed her feet.

“Hi, you!” Ryan said as he came to plant a kiss on her forehead.

“Hey,” Lia responded.

“Jack is sleeping in the office. We were playing a bit of Horizon Forbidden. He is good at the game and beat me every round,” Ryan said.

“We still need to have a meeting with the parents to tell them that Jack is your son. My parent’s still think I sold my body and got pregnant for some stranger. Your mother is under the impression that Jack is my nephew!” Lia announced.
