YULE'S POV
Melissa and I are heading to the market town. She stated that she would want to see the items and clothing for a newborn child. When I glance at her tummy, I can't see her baby bump.
"Are you really pregnant?" I curiously asked her, she touched her belly and smiled at me.
"Yes, I have already sought an appointment with the doctor, they can feel the pulse," she said.
I lean out the window and look at the scenery. well, if Melissa is indeed pregnant. why would the Marquess be upset last night? even Eva is crying. maybe Eva has done something that made them upset.
"Adelle, I know I may sound crazy but, please forgive Eva for stealing your accessories," she said. I looked at her confused. I thought they didn't believe me when I said that's mine. I didn't respond and just looked at her
"...and you see, she's apologizing to you earlier. I just want her to atone for her sins for stealing someone's gift." she said and caressed his belly, "I want you two to get along well since I'm expecting a child and soon your sibling will be born. I want you two to treat her well."
I didn't respond because it was so unfair to me. A mere apology will not be enough because what she did to Adelle was more than simply stealing. She has done numerous heinous things to Adelle to make her suffer.
We have arrived at the market town. It's as active as ever. People are dragging me away. But I was taken aback when Melissa grabbed my hand and took me on a walk like a mother and a daughter.
But I can't stop myself from looking for the faces of every merchant we pass since I still haven't located the man I'm looking for. This is tough,
********************************
We've made our way back home. Melissa purchased several items for the baby. She also informed me that after I called her Miss, I may call her Mother. I was quite shocked when she said that. what's happening?
I didn't see any suspicious men at the market today, as I had expected. I had given up hope of ever finding that man, but I didn't want to quit trying. Eva approached us as we arrived at the house, but Melissa didn't bother to glance at her. Eva looked irritated and shifted her gaze at me before turning away and going to her room. I'm not sure why Melissa feels the need to act that way in front of Eva.
It's like she's forcing her to do something that Eva doesn't want to.
"Kaniz, I'm exhausted," I murmured to Kaniz, who was following me. Well, who wouldn't be tired after walking back and forth in the market town simply to buy some baby stuff? My vitality seems to be dwindling.
Melissa, from what I've seen, isn't horrible at all. Perhaps Adelle and Melissa misunderstood one another? She's so compassionate when she talks to me, she even takes and holds my hand to save me from getting swept away by the crowds, or was I just thinking that?
I've never met my mother in the past. I grew up in the tower where they kept us captives and slaves. Now that I think about it, I'm not so sure but I get to experience everything that I haven't had the opportunity to do in the past.
Having a Father, an acting Mother, a bimbo step-sister, in short, a family, even if they don't act like it. It's still a family affair. I used to have a family, I have Mona, Jack, and Eli as pals instead of a parent.
Unlike the in past, when our clothing was filthy, I now can wear lovely outfits. I have the opportunity to eat three meals every day. Sleep comfortably in a warm bed and a comfortable room.
I only didn't have right now is that I can't use magic or eat red meat. So, it's a form of punishment? Maybe the saying "You can't have it all" is true.
Kaniz assists me in changing into my bedtime clothes. I fling myself into bed right away. Tomorrow, I'll travel to the location specified by Kaniz. for now, I want to rest.

THIRD PERSON'S POV
The Marquess was delighted when Melissa said that she and Adelle were getting along well recently,
"It would be wonderful if Eva and Adelle could also get along," Marquess murmured, hugging Melissa from behind.
"Don't worry, honey, Eva will make her move one day; I've already warned her," Melissa replied, holding Marquess' hand.
"Aren't you being a little bit harsh on Eva?" Marquess inquires.
"No, she has done awful things like taking someone else's gift and tainting your reputation; she has to atone for her misdeeds," she stated as she faced the Marquess. "We'll have a lovely family soon, with our newborn kid, and I hope you'll love her as much as you love the two," she stated. Marquess embraces her.
**************************
Marquess is on his way to Adelle's room. Eva noticed him and silently followed him. He softly opened the door so Adelle wouldn't be disturbed in her rest. As he approached the bed, he noticed Adelle sleeping comfortably. Eva peeked inside the room, her eyes widening as she saw the Marquess stroking Adelle's hair and kissing her on the forehead.
Eva was overcome with jealousy and envy. This made her dislike Adelle even more.
"Sleep well, my darling," Marquess says in a soft tone as he adjusts Adelle's blanket; Adelle is clueless about what's going on since she's exhausted and having a deep sleep
Eva clenches her hand and glares at Adelle. When the Marquess was about to leave the room, Eva ran to her room discreetly, anticipating that the Marquess would do the same to her because her room was close to Adelle's, but she saw the Marquess's shadow pass by her door.
Eva felt neglected. She doesn't want to feel the same way she did in the past. She didn't understand that jealousy and anger were slowly eating her away; tears streamed down her cheeks as she smashed the pillow.
She glared aggressively at the box containing Adelle's accessories.

After completing his mission at the eastern frontier, Leo returned to the royal capital. The eastern border has grown firm, and no hordes have been seen in the area
************Archmage Tower**************
"Leo, you've returned," Annah exclaimed as she approached Leo.
"Yes, Where is the captain? I need to report to him," Leo asked as he searched for Eli.
"I'm not sure, maybe he's at Dragon Tail Mountain," Annah said. Leo instantly glances at the calendar and notices that it is one week before September 19th.
"Oh, Yule's birthday is coming up; I'm sure he'll remain there for a few weeks," Leo replied as he sat down on the couch. Annah gave a nod. "...how long is he going to torment himself?"
"Leo, don't say that. We know Elijah loves Yule so much. It must have been devastating," Annah murmured as she sat down.
"I know, We felt lost as well, but 11 years have gone by," Leo remarked.
"You can't make someone move on. as long as he doesn't do anything horrible to himself again," Annah stated as she stood up to make some tea.
"What if he attempts to commit suicide again?" Leo says,
Annah stopped for a moment, "That's why, in a moment like this, Jack always looks after him," she explained. Leo scoffs harshly.
"Those two want to commit suicide, and now you're saying that if they get together, nothing bad would happen?" he said. Annah glanced down for a time before returning her gaze to Leo.
"That's why you're here. Go meet them at Dragon Tail Mountain, just make sure they don't do anything weird this time," Annah replied quickly, startling Leo.
"What? I'm not a babysitter; I just returned from my deployment; I haven't even seen my niece yet," he replied as he rose up. "Don't worry, I'll contact them from time to time; we don't need to seek them; I'm sure they understand what they want to accomplish after you scolded them several times."
After that, Leo was about to leave the conference room when Annah inquired.
"Speaking of your niece, did you notice any weird behavior when you found her?" Annah inquires abruptly.
"Aside from losing her memory, she doesn't do anything strange, why?" Leo enquires.
"Ah, nothing. I just want to know whether she's okay," Annah remarked, nervously smiling at Leo.
"Thank you for thinking about Adelle; next time I'll bring her here," Leo stated before exiting the room. Annah remains in the conference room, recalling the first time she met Adelle.
'It's extremely strange,' she thought to herself.

YULE'S POV
The fall has arrived, and I can feel the hunting competition and festivals approaching particularly my birthday. September 19th, Yule McGregor's birthday.
I get up because Kaniz has opened the curtains, and my room is now quite bright.
"Milady, it's time to wake up; you have plans, remember?" she said. Oh, I remember, I'm heading to the location mentioned by Kaniz.
"Yes, I remembered," I respond and get to wash up.
*knock* *knock*
I heard someone banging on my door; please don't tell me it's Eva. I was pretty sick of her the other day. I didn't know I had frowned for a split second.
"You have a guest, Milady," the other servant remarked outside my chamber.
Visitor? Who could it be?
Maybe it's Leo?
