Capítulo 36: Talk About Mate

Trying to distract her thoughts, Jade then asked Shane something. For the time being, she didn't want to know anything about Carla's changes.

She then touched Shane's hand, which suddenly felt warm and made her feel different.

Jade was silent for a moment as she looked at Shane. Then she blinked several times.

"Do you have a mate, Shane?" Jade asked.

Jade's random question took Shane by surprise. He had just heard from Max about Jade asking about 'mate', now Jade was discussing it with him.

"Why are you just silent?" Jade asked, bringing his thoughts to a halt.

"Errr... why do you ask like that?" Shane asked.

"Because I read the article that wolves have mates."

Shane was confused about what to answer. Because to him talking to Jade, who was his own mate, sounded very strange.

He swallowed his saliva and pulled his hand away from Jade's touch. Though he had wanted to keep his hand touched by it.
