Alita for the first time knew what it was to shoot oneself in the foot. As someone who prided herself in exploring desolated stars and so forth, she was quite ashamed to see that even a small beast could bully her and she could only struggle to kill it.

For three days Alita was still in the forest and she had lost count of how many beasts she had killed. She had been on the verge of death so many times that she was getting used to it.

Her body was full of scars and they hurt like s***. She had tried her best to use her pistol as less as possible as using guns wouldn't temper her the way that she wanted.

So, after fighting for three days, Alita could now grasp her sword better than before and with every battle that she fights, she was gaining more and more experienced, and even though this experience was bringing her much closer to death multiple times, she felt that it was worth it.
