Cherish was kissed fiercely by William, and he didn't plan to suppress his emotions any longer, passionately entwining with her. But when William unbuttoned Cherish's clothes, her indifferent gaze extinguished his desire like a silent accusation.

If he made any further moves, it would be as if William was forcing himself on a lifeless body, which he couldn't do.
