Capítulo 323: Facing His Wrath

If what Harvey said was true and no one can force Hayden into anything, then I have to find a way to convince him but where do I even start? What would make Hayden want to marry me?

“Harvey, let’s head back,” I suggested.

“Are you sure?” he asked.

“Yes, I need to talk with Hayden…” I replied without hesitation.

Harvey lips curled into a knowing smile. He probably noticed that I’ve made up my mind before I noticed it myself. Without any delays, Harvey got up from his seat and approached where I was standing. I watched as he walked past me before he bent down and placed a soft kiss on Amelia’s forehead. I looked away immediately before I would start crying. The pain I felt deep in my chest at the sorrowful and unfortunate sight felt very similar to heartbreak.
