"Well, thankfully it's all in the past. Unsurprisingly enough, this is my first date as well," Zaelek spoke reassuringly.
Although it was their first date, Zaelek did not take Akira to a fancy restaurant, instead, they simply stopped in front of a roadside stall that was selling Brazilian churros.
"I thought you were taking me out for dinner," Akira spoke with a chuckle.
"You need to save some space in your stomach for dinner," Zaelek replied as he reminded the man, "We still have that dinner party to get to."
"You're right. I almost forgot, there's going to be some high-quality food there."
Zaelek nodded his head as he agreed.
Zaelek ordered two churros, one for Akira and one for himself.
Akira couldn't help but ask, "I thought you didn't need to eat or drink."
"I don't," Zaelek confirmed it as he spoke, "But I can't let my date eat alone."
"..."
